Jumper: Worked top down

In this DROPS video we show how to work a jumper top down in round circular needle. We show how we increase for raglan by doing a YO 2 sts before marker and 2 sts after marker, and on next round K YO twisted to avoid a hole. We have already worked neck (rib) and start the video with the 1st round where we do the increase. Remember that you have to read a pattern in addition to watching the video, a pattern has more information to be made / number between markers / pattern / elevation etc. The pink marking thread is for beg of round. Remember this is just a general video. We also show how we put the sleeve stitches on a thread, how we cast on new sts under arm and knit the sleeve. But REMEMBER that you MUST read a PATTERN in addition to watching the video. To see a pattern that is worked top down, see: DROPS 156-12

Hei Monics. Det er mange grunner til at man kan strikke en jakke/genser ovenfra og ned, f.eks er det mye lettere å prøve plagget underveis. Er bærestykket langt nok, hvor lang vil man ha bolen og man kan prøve seg frem til hvor korte/lange ermer man vil ha. Dear Dafne, let's take first size here, you will have to increase 16 times every other round, this means work as follows: *work 1 round with increases, 1 round without increase* and repeat these 2 rounds a total of 16 times ; you increase 8 stitches on every increase round as explained under RAGLAN and then you will have 216 sts after all increases are done. Als je de pas met een rondbreinaald breit zou je hier geen last van moeten hebben. Zorg ervoor dat je de draad van de rondbreinaald steeds op een andere plek 'doorschuift'.

Bonjour Maryse, tout dépend de l'effet souhaité, de la forme du vêtement (largeur dos/devant et largeur manches), du nombre de mailles pour les raglan (point fantaisie, point mousse, jersey etc...) etc... le plus simple est de vous inspirer d'un vêtement tricoté de haut en bas, filtrez les catégories et l'échantillon pour affiner les résultats.
