How to crochet around a thin steel wire

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet the last round of a hat where you also crochet around a thin steel wire. The brim will becomes a bit stiffer. Chooses whether you wants to use single or double steel wire. In this video we work with double crochet around with a double steel wire.

Twist the steel wire ends together a few times and put them at the edge. Fasten with the thread end while sewing over the steel wire ends so that they do not appear.

We use the yarn DROPS Paris in the video.

This video would be much more helpful if you showed what to do with the ends of the wire once it has been crocheted into place.
