How to work a fan with increases between stitches

In this DROPS video we show how to work a fan between 2 stitches and at the same time increases 5 stitches

* Insert needle in space with marker thread, make 1 yarn over and pull yarn to the front of piece, knit 1 *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total (= 5 yarn overs on needle). NOTE: Make sure that the yarn overs have the same length (it is important to avoid tight yarn overs to make the knitting tension correct vertically). On next round knit the yarn overs.

You can also decreases fewer / increase more stitches and remember to read the pattern how long the yarn over should be. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video.
