Change to 1 strand Tynn Chenille and 1 strand Cotton Viscose and knit Pattern (starting with Purl 2) until the work measures 8 cm . Knit stockinette st to finished dimensions. At the same time, after the pattern (the work measures 8 cm ), inc 1 st at each side 16 (17-18) times:
Sizes S+M: alternately every 4th and 5th row.
Size L: every 4th row.
= 76 (78-80) sts. When the work measures 45 (45-44) cm , bind off on each side for sleeve caps every other row: 3 sts 4 times, 2 sts 3 times, 1 st 2 (3-4) times, 2 sts 2 times, 3 sts 2 times. Bind off. The work measures approximately 56 (57-57) cm .

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx. 92-100 sts (divisible by 4) along the left front with 1 strand Cotton Viscose and 1 strand Tynn Chenille and knit 2 rows in garter st, then rib as follows:
Row 1: K 1, * K 2, P 2 *. Repeat from * - * until 3 sts remain, K 3.
Row 2: K 1, *P 2, K 2 *. Repeat from * - * until 3 sts remain, P 2, K 1.
Repeat these 2 rows until rib measures 2.5 cm . Finish with 2 rows garter st. Bind off. Repeat along the right front, but after 1 cm make 7 buttonholes evenly distributed on the row. (1 buttonhole = bind off 1 st and inc 1 new st over the bound-off st on the next row.) Make the top and bottom buttonholes approx. 1 cm from the edge.
Pick up approximately 80-92 sts (divisible by 4) around the neck and over the button bands from the wrong side with 2 strands of Cotton Viscose and knit the collar (from the right side when the collar is folded down):
Row 1: K 1, * K 2, P 2 *. Repeat from * - * until 3 sts remain, K 3.
Row 2: K 1, * P 2, K 2 *. Repeat from * - * until 3 sts remain, P 2, K 1.
At the same time, every other row inc 1 st inside the 3 outer sts on each side. When the collar measures approximately 10 cm (adjust length so that the increased sts have made a complete rib), knit 4 rows in rib without increasing, then 2 rows garter st over all sts. Bind off loosely. Sew sleeve seam. Sew on the sleeves and the buttons.
