Knitting tension: 21 stitches x 28 rows with needle size 4 mm and stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm. Remember needle size is only a guide!

Pattern: See diagram (1 diagram = 1 repeat). The pattern in the diagram is seen from the right side. Whole pattern worked in stocking stitch.

Ridge/Garter stitch (in the round): 1 ridge = 2 rounds. Knit 1 round and purl 1 round.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Body: The jumper is worked in the round with circular needle and the armholes are cut out afterwards. Cast on 210 (224-238) stitches with circular needle size 3 mm and white Cotton Frisé and work 1 ridge. Change to circular needle size 4 mm and work Pattern upwards. Remember the knitting tension. When piece measures 25 (24-30) cm increase 5 stitches in each side (these stitches are to cut in afterwards (for armhole) and are not worked into pattern). Make sure you have a repeat mid front. When piece measures 38 (38-44) cm cast off the middle 15 (18-19) stitches in front for neck. The piece is finished back and forth on needle. Continue to cast off for neck every 2nd row: 3 stitches x 2, 2 stitches x 2, 1 stitch x 2. At the same time, when piece measures 46 (46-52) cm cast off the middle 35 (38-39) stitches mid back and then cast off 2 stitches on next row towards mid back. Cast off when piece measures approx. 48 (48-54) cm.

Sleeve: Cast on 50 (50-52) stitches with double pointed needles size 3 mm and white Cotton Frisé and work 1 ridge, change to double pointed needles size 4 mm and light grey and work stocking stitch to finished length. At the same time, when piece measures 6 cm increase mid under sleeve: 2 stitches x 23 (25-24) every 4th round = 96 (100-100) stitches. When piece measures 45 (44-44) cm, place the 4 stitches mid under sleeve on a thread. Then place one stitch for sleeve cap on a thread in each side every 2nd row: 7 stitches x 5. Piece measures approx. 48 (47-47) cm. Place stitches from thread back on needles and work 2 cm stocking stitch with wrong side out as a lining over the cut-edge on body, cast off.

Assembly: Sew a marker thread down in the middle of the new stitches in each side. Sew two machine seams around the marker threads, seam 1 = 1/2 stitch from thread, seam 2 = 1/2 stitch from seam 1. Cut for armhole. Sew shoulder seams. Knit up approx. 94-104 stitches around neck with double pointed needles size 3 mm and white Cotton Frisé and work 1 ridge, cast off. Sew sleeves to body from the right side as follows: Sew alternately a stitch in the last knitted round on sleeve before the lining and one stitch on body after machine seam. Turn the jumper inside out and sew, by hand, the lining from the sleeve over the cut edge on body.

Crochet edges: Work with hook size 3 mm and white Cotton Frisé along bottom of body and bottom of sleeves as follows:
Row 1: A row of double crochets divided as follows: approx. 220 (230-250) double crochets (divisible by 10) at bottom of body, approx. 50 (50-50) double crochets (divisible by 10) at bottom of each sleeve.
Row 2: 1 double crochet, * skip 2 double crochets and work 2 treble crochets in next double crochet, 2 chain stitches, 2 treble crochets in next double crochet, skip 2 double crochets, 4 double crochets *, repeat from * - *.
Row 3: 1 double crochet, * 3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in first chain stitch, 1 double crochet in 2nd treble crochet on previous row, 3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in first chain stitch, 1 double crochet in chain-space on previous row, 3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in first chain stitch, 1 double crochet in 4th treble crochet on previous row, 3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in 3rd double crochet on row below *, repeat from * - *.
