SOCKS - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
Worked in the round on double pointed needles from foot and up to leg.

SOCK:
Cast on 40-48-52 stitches on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm with Merino Extra Fine. Knit 1 round. Insert a marker thread at beginning of round. Work rib = knit 2/purl 2 for 9-10-11 cm. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Work next round as follows: Work the first 22-30-30 stitches in rib as before, cast off the last 18-18-22 stitches on round (= under foot). Work next round as follows: Work rib over the first 22-30-30 stitches, cast on 26-26-34 stitches (= back of foot) = 48-56-64 stitches. Work rib over the first 22-30-30 stitches, work A.1 – choose diagram for your size (= 26-26-34 stitches) over the new stitches cast on. When entire A.1 has been worked vertically, continue with knit over knit and purl over purl for 1-2-3 cm. Cast off stitches with knit over knit and purl over purl. Make sure that the cast-off edge is not too tight. Cut the yarn and fasten. Work the other sock the same way.
