WREATH:
Make 43 pompoms in total in 2 different sizes in each of the 3 yarns. Fasten pompoms around a steel wire to make a wreath at the end.

CARDBOARD DISC:
To make pompoms wrap yarn around a cardboard discs. Cut 2 cardboard discs with a diameter of 5 cm / 2'' and 2 cardboard discs with a diameter of 7 cm / 2¾''.

POMPOMS:
Make pompoms with an approx. diameter of 5 and 7 cm / 2¾'' in the different qualities below.
Wrap the yarn around the cardboard discs - see how many times to warp the yarn in the different sizes below. Cut a yarn of approx. 40 cm / 15 3/4'' in the same quality as pompom and fold it double. Thread the yarn between the cardboard discs and tie a double knot. Pull out the cardboard disc and tie a knot the opposite way so that all strands are fastened. Cut the loops in each side, then cut the pompom to make it even - NOTE: Do not cut the yarn holding the pompom together - this is used to fasten the pompom around the steel wire and leave it at least 20 cm / 8'' long.

Brushed Alpaca Silk:
Make 8 pompoms of 5 cm / 2'' by wrapping the yarn 130 times around the cardboard discs.
Make 8 pompoms of 7 cm / 2¾'' by wrapping the yarn 170 times around the cardboard discs.

Nepal:
Make 9 pompoms of 5 cm / 2'' by wrapping the yarn 100 times around the cardboard discs.
Make 9 pompoms of 7 cm / 2¾'' by wrapping the yarn 130 times around the cardboard discs.

Eskimo:
Make 9 pompoms of 5 cm / 2'' by wrapping the yarn 50 times around the cardboard discs.

There are now 43 pompoms in total.

ASSEMBLY:
Cut 1 steel wire of approx. 110 cm / 4''. Fold it double and wrap it together approx. 9 cm / 3½'' from the fold (= for hanging). Bend it into a ring. Let the ends overlap approx. 4 cm / 1½'' and wrap the ends together. The ring measures approx. 27 cm / 10½'' in diameter. Fasten one and one pompom around the steel wire - distribute the different qualities and sizes evenly. Fasten them in different lengths until they are tight together.
