PULLOVER:

Crochet gauge: Ch 17 = 10 cm [4"]
Pattern 1 worked over 6 ch (2 V-stitch groups) = 3.5 cm [1-3/8"]
8 rows of Pattern 1 = 10 cm [4"].
1 repeat of Pattern 2 = 4 cm [1.5"].

Pattern: See charts. The chart on the right has Patterns 1 (going upwards from the «start» arrow), and Patterns 2 and 3 (going down from the «start» arrow). The chart on the left (Fig. 1) shows the neckline decrease pattern.
1 V-stitch group: 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc.

Neck shaping: See Fig.1.

Front: Ch 84-90-96, turn and crochet Pattern 1 (there will be 28-30-32 V-stitch groups on the row - 1 V-st group = 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) to finished dimensions. When the piece measures approx. 22-26-29 cm [8 5/8" - 10.25" - 11-3/8"] bind off for armhole at each side by crocheting 1 V-st group less every other row 3-4-4 times = 22-22-24 V-st groups remain on row. When the piece measures approx. 38-42-46 cm [14-7/8" - 16.5" - 18-1/8"] bind off for the neck center front - see Fig.1. After neck bind off the piece measures approx. 44-48-52 cm [17.25" - 18 7/8" - 20.5"] and there are 6-6-7 V-st groups on each shoulder.
Border: Start crochet at the bottom edge of the front - turn chart over - and crochet Pattern 2 once, then Pattern 3 twice. The piece measures approx. 60-64-68 cm [23-5/8" - 25.25" - 26.75"] up to shoulder.

Back: Crochet as for front, but bind off for the neck when only 1 row remains of Pattern 1 to shoulders - do not crochet over the 10-10-10 center V-st groups. Crochet Pattern 2 and Pattern 3 at bottom edge as on front.

Sleeve: The sleeves are crocheted in the round. Pattern 2 and Pattern 3 are crocheted afterwards as on Body. Ch 48-48-48. Join and crochet Pattern 1 = 16 V-st groups - put a marker in the ch st in the center of 1 V-st group. After 2 rows inc 1 V-st group at marker by crocheting 2 V-st group in the same ch st. Repeat inc alternately on right and left side of marker: 5-5-7 times every 4-4-3 rows. After all incs there are 22-22-24 V-st group around sleeve. When the piece measures approx. 35-34-33 cm [13.75" - 13 3/8" - 13"] divide at marker and crochet the rest back and forth. Bind off 1 V-st group at each end of row, then continue to crochet 1 less V-st group at each edge of every row 3-4-4 times, a total bind off of 4-5-5 V-st groups at each side. After bind off there are 14-12-14 V-st groups remaining and the piece measures approx. 45-46-45 cm [17.75" - 18-1/8" - 17.75"].
Border: Start at the bottom edge of sleeves and crochet Pattern 2 once and then Pattern 3 twice - but do not crochet the 2 last rows of Pattern 3 on the second repeat. Finish with 1 row sc - sleeve measures approx. 57-58-57 cm [22.5" - 22-7/8" - 22.5"].

Assembly: Crochet together side seams and shoulder seams as follows: * 1 sc in front, ch 2, 1 sc in back, ch 2 *, repeat from * - * over all sts. Crochet the sleeves to Body in the same way.

Fringe: Put 1 fringe tassel in each point on the bottom edge of Body = 28-30-32 tassels. 1 tassel = cut 10 strands of yarn 30 cm [11.75"] long, fold them double and pull through the ch sts around bottom of body and fasten.

SHOULDER WARMER:

Sizes: Small/Medium - Medium/Large - Extra Large
Finished measurements: 114-124-134 cm [44-7/8" - 48-7/8" - 52.75"] at bottom edge

Materials: Garnstudio PELLIZA,
100% polyester, 50 g/115 m./125 yards
300-300-350 g. col. no. 07, rust.

DROPS 3 mm [US 2] and 3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles and short circular needles, or sizes needed to obtain correct gauge.

Gauge: 23 sts x 30 rows on larger needles in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"].

Garter st, when knitting flat: Knit all sts, all rows.

Rib: * K 1, P 1 *, repeat from * - *.

Knitting tip: All decs take place on right side rows.
Before 8 edge sts: K 2 tog.
After 8 edge sts: slip 1, K 1, psso.

Shoulder warmer: Cast on 264-288-312 sts on smaller circular needles; join and place a marker at the join. Knit Rib for 3 cm [1.25"]. Change to larger needles and stockinette st. When the piece measures 14-15-16 cm [5.5" - 5-7/8" - 6.25"] put 6 markers in row with 44-48-52 sts between each. On the next row dec 1 st on each side of each marker (12 decs total) - dec by K 2 tog = 252-276-300 sts. Repeat decs every 2 cm [0.75"] 6-6-7 times and then every cm [3/8"] 4-5-5 times = 132-144-156 sts. When the piece measures 31-33-35 cm [12.25" - 13" - 13.75"] dec 32-36-40 sts evenly distributed on the row = 100-108-116 sts. Change to smaller circular needles and knit Rib for 8-8-8 cm [3-1/8"]. Change to larger circular needles and stockinette st, increasing 40-36-32 sts evenly distributed on the row = 140-144-148 sts. Measure the work from here. Knit stockinette st for 4 cm [1.5"]. On the next row, knit the 14-14-14 sts at center front in reverse stockinette st (seen from the right side), then bind off the 6 center sts for hood opening. Knit the rest back and forth on needles. Cast on 4 new sts at each side = 148-152-156 sts. Continue with stockinette st, keeping 8 sts in garter st at each side. Dec 1 st at each side every other row - inside of the 8 edge sts - see Knitting tip - 6-6-6 times = 130-134-138 sts. Knit stockinette st until hood measures approx. 31-32-33 cm [12.25" - 12-5/8" - 33"]. Put 1 marker at center back (after 65-67-69 sts). Dec 2 sts at each side of the marker 9-9-9 times every other row - dec by K 3 tog = 94-98-102 sts. Put half the sts on a separate needle. Put the two halves of the hood right sides together and Kitchener st together. Fold the 4 outermost sts against wrong side and stitch down.
