Hello! LOVE this beautiful blanket I've just finished! I'm thinking of adding a lacy border and was thinking of incorporating rows 6 & 7, but I'm not sure how I would handle the corners. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance as well as for the lovely pattern!
31.07.2020 - 01:50DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sandy, what about adjusting the row 6 around the piece so that the (1 dc, 2 ch, 1 dc) is worked in each corner? adjust if necessary skipping more/less stitches along each side to make it nice. Happy crocheting!

I love this pattern! I also love the Muskat yarn. Can I make this with Muskat? It's OK if the blanket is larger, but what other things should I consider? How much yarn do I need? Thank you
09.07.2020 - 19:17DROPS Design answered:
Dear Michelle, it's somewhat tricky, depending on how you are working, the crochet hook size and then the fabric, you might require a different meterage. You can find some crochet baby blankets worked in yarn group B if they can inspire you. Happy crocheting!

Hello! LOVE your patterns! I’m ready to start on a baby blanket for my first grandchild and see this made from a Group A yarn. Would this best “translate” as weight 2/Fine/Sport/Baby or weight 3/DK/Light Worsted? Thanks so much!

Dear Sandy, you can find the information on the yarngroups here. Happy Crafting!

Do you have a link to the full pattern because the one here is not very good or explanatory
14.05.2020 - 00:27DROPS Design answered:
Dear Dizzy Kane, if you mean by full patterns the full written out instructions for the crochet diagram, no we do not have that. There are explanations for each symbols, and a tutorial on how to read these diagrams. Happy Crafting!

Pattern makes no sense. Videos are not helpful. Your responses to other requests for assistance are vague at best. Disgraceful.
24.04.2020 - 06:23DROPS Design answered:
Dear Christina, The DROPS patterns are knitted and crocheted by thousands and thousands of people around the world. We understand however that in certain countries, with different knitting/crochet traditions than Scandinavia, our patterns might be written in a way that differs from what some are used to. But of course we want everyone to understand our patterns, so that’s why we have created an extensive library of tutorial videos as well as step by step lessons that explain how to follow the techniques we use and how to read the diagrams in our patterns. Give them a try!

Beste Dropsdesign.

I am getting on well with the pattern but my edges look untidy. Should I be making a treble in the same place as the 3 chain at the beginning of a row?
08.03.2020 - 08:42DROPS Design answered:
Dear Elizabeth, at the beginning of each row, you start with the chain stitches to raise the stitches to the height necessary to crochet the trebles. If your edges are untidy, try crocheting the chain stitches tighter (or looser, if the edge pulls the piece in), or take away one chain stitch if the 3 chain stitch to long (however it is rarely too much, working the chain stitches tighter than usual works better). Happy Crafting!

Wanted you to know I added the lacy trim as you suggested, row 6 as mentioned, and it’s simply PERFECT! Delicate, but not too much, and looks great on the little blanket. Can’t wait to gift it! Thank you!
