PATTERN:
See diagrams A.1 to A.6. See diagram for correct size.

CROCHET INFO:
Beg every round with dtr with 4 ch (= first dtr) and finish with 1 sl st in 4th ch at beg of round.
Beg every dc round with 1 ch (this replaces first dc) and finish with 1 sl st in 1st ch at beg of round.
----------------------------------------------------------

PONCHO:
The piece is worked top down. Work 120-120-134-134 ch on hook size 4.5 mm with Merino Extra Fine and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Work 1 ch (= 1 dc) – READ CROCHET INFO, 1 dc in next ch, * skip 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 6 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 104-104-116-116 dc. Then work pattern as follows: Work * A.1a over the first 13-13-15-15 dc, A.2 over the next 17-17-18-18 dc, A.3 over the next 2-2-3-3 dc, A.4 over next dc, A.5 over the next 2-2-3-3 dc, A.6 over the next 17-17-18-18 dc *, repeat from *-* 2 times in total. Continue pattern like this. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When A.1a has been worked 1 time vertically, repeat A.1b over A.1a vertically until finished measurements. When A.3, A.4 and A.5 have been worked 1 time vertically, work A.2 over A.3 until 2-2-3-3 dc remain, then work A.3 over the next 2-2-3-3 dc, repeat A.4 vertically, work A.5 over the first 2-2-3-3 dc in A.5, then work A.6. Continue pattern and inc like this. Every time A.3 and A.5 have been worked 1 time vertically, repeat A.2 and A.6 2 times more in width (= 4 times more of A.2/A.6 in total in width on poncho). When piece measures 45-47-49-51 cm, adjust to finish with 1 round dc/ch. Fasten off.

EDGE:
Work an edge around the neck on poncho. Work 1 dc in every ch where dc was worked in first round = 104-104-116-116 dc. Fasten off.

Diagram

= ch
= dtr in st
= dc in st
= dc around ch-space
= Bobble: Work 1 dtr in next dc but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), work 3 dtr more in same dc the same way, then pull yarn through all 5 sts on hook

Buon lavoro!

Laura 30.09.2016 - 23:27:

Buona sera. Quindi a4. Poi a5 sulle prime 2 maglie e poi 2 volte a 6. E corretto? Grazie

DROPS Design 01.10.2016 kl. 06:51:

Buongiorno Laura. Buon lavoro!

Deborah 30.09.2016 - 18:03:

Though the Note specifies that the pattern is written in American English, the instructions indicate "tr" (treble crochet) as the main stitch, but the charts show symbols for "dc" (double crochet). Which shall I use? Thank you in advance for your help!

DROPS Design 03.10.2016 kl. 08:41:

Dear Deborah, diagram text has been updated, you can find now American English terminology. Happy crocheting!

Laura 29.09.2016 - 14:00:

Buon giorno.

Buon lavoro!

Laura 29.09.2016 - 13:50:
