Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. Knitting tension: Remember needle size is only a guide. 9 stitches with needle size 10 mm and stocking stitch = 10 cm in width.
----------------------------------------------------

Scarf: Cast on 45 stitches over 2 needles size 10 mm and with Vivaldi (this is so the cast-on edge is elastic). Pull out the one needle and knit 1 row from the right side and then knit 1 row from the wrong side. Then continue with stocking stitch and 1 stitch garter stitch in each side. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures approx. 98 cm knit 1 row from the wrong side and knit 1 row from the right side before loosely casting off - NOTE: So the cast-off edge is not tight, make 1 yarn over after every 5th stitch at the same time as you cast off (yarn overs cast off as normal stitches).

Crochet edge: Work an edge around the whole scarf with hook size 7 mm and Puddel as follows (work around the ridge): 1 double crochet in first stitch, * 1 chain stitch, skip approx. 0.5-1 cm, 1 double crochet in next stitch *, repeat from *-* to end of round and finish with 1 chain stitch and 1 slip stitch in first double crochet at beginning of round.

DROPS Design 05.03.2016 kl. 18:25:

Bon tricot!
