100 g for all sizes in colour no 21, medium grey
DROPS DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLES and CIRCULAR NEEDLE (40 cm) SIZE 4 mm - or size needed to get 21 sts x 28 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.
DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (40 cm) SIZE 3.5 mm for moss st - or size needed to get 22 sts x 30 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.
NECK WARMER:
Size: S - M – L
Circumference at the top: 55-59-64 cm
Height (incl flap at the front): 30-32-34 cm

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. ROUND 1: * K 1, P 1 *, repeat from *-* the entire round.
ROUND 2: P over K and K over P.
Then repeat round 2.

HAT:
Worked in the round on circular needle. Switch to double pointed needles when needed.
Cast on 103-107-111 sts on circular needle size 3.5 mm with Karisma. K 1 round, then continue in the round with MOSS ST – see explanation above, until piece measures 6 cm. Switch to circular needle size 4 mm. Continue in the round in stocking st until piece measures 19 cm in all sizes. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION Now insert 6 markers in the piece as follows: Insert a marker at beg of round, work 17-17-17 sts, insert a marker, then insert 4 markers 17-18-19 sts apart, work the remaining 18-18-18 sts remain on round. On next round, dec 1 st after every marker by K 2 tog. Dec like this every other round 11-11-13 times = 37-41-33 sts. On next round K first st, then K 2 and 2 sts tog = 19-21-17 sts. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten.
NECK WARMER:
Work top down, first in the round, then work the flap at the front back and forth.
Cast on 109-117-127 sts on circular needle size 4 mm with Karisma. K 1 round, then work MOSS ST - see explanation above, for 2 cm. Switch to circular needle size 4.5 mm. Now work in stocking st until piece measures 20-21-22 cm in total. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION Switch to circular needle size 4 mm with moss st for 2 cm. Now work as follows: Work moss st over the first 55-59-63 sts on round, then work in stocking st over the remaining 54-58-63 sts on round. On next round, work as follows: Work in moss st over the first 55-59-63 sts, then cast off the remaining 54-58-63 sts (i.e. the sts worked in stocking st on previous round).
Now continue back and forth in moss st over the 55-59-63 sts and cast off 2 sts at beg of every row. Cast off like this in each side until 11 sts remain in all sizes. Cast off. Fasten off.

I assume that there is a mistake on the last row of the hat pattern? 37 st, then Knit first st, then k2 and 2st tog =19 st? Am I missing something here? K1 then k2tog works...

Dear Vera, you first K the first st, then K2 tog the next 36 sts, ie repeat K2 tog a total of 18 times = 19 sts remain. Happy knitting!Salve, quando si parla di intrecciare due maglie all'inizio di ogni ferro per la parte inferiore a grana di riso si intende di diminuire 2 maglie e non 1. Drops 171/44 Seattle neck warmer Hello, In the pattern it says: REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE Switch to circular needle size 4 mm / US 6 with seed st for 2 cm / 3/4''. Does this mean I work a second lot of seed stitch for 2 cm OR this is a reference to the gauge only? Thank you.
