PATTERN:
See diagram A.1.

CROCHET INFO:
Work round with dc in the round, i.e. do not work sl st at the end of round but continue with dc in next dc.
Replace first dc at beg of every dc row with 1 ch. Finish every row with 1 sl st in ch from beg of previous row.

DECREASE TIP:
Work 1 dc but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), then work next dc but on last pull through, pull yarn through all sts on hook = 1 dc dec.
----------------------------------------------------------

SLIPPER:
Piece is worked in the round from toe and back to instep, then work back and forth to mid back on heel.

Work 4 ch on hook size 3.5 mm with aqua blue and form 1 ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: Work 6-6-5 dc in ch-ring – READ CROCHET INFO!
ROUND 2: Work 2 dc in every dc = 12-12-10 dc.
ROUND 3 (and then every other round): Work 1 dc in every dc.
ROUND 4: * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 6-6-5 times in total = 18-18-15 dc. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION!
ROUND 6: * 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 6-6-5 times in total = 24-24-20 dc.
ROUND 8: * 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 6-6-5 times in total = 30-30-25 dc.
ROUND 10: * 1 dc in each of the first 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 6-6-5 times in total = 36-36-30 dc. Inc are now done in size 35/37.
ROUND 12: * 1 dc in each of the first 5 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 6-5 times in total = 42-35 dc. Inc are now done in size 38/40.
ROUND 14: * 1 dc in each of the first 6 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total = 40 dc.
ROUND 16: * 1 dc in each of the first 7 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total = 45 dc. Inc are now done in size 41/43.

ALL SIZES:
= 36-42-45 dc on round. Work in the round with 1 dc in every dc (without finishing rounds) until piece measures 9-11-13 cm. Then work dc back and forth over the first 24-30-32 dc (i.e. do not work over the last 12-12-13 dc on round) - remember CROCHET INFO! When slipper measures 20-22-25 cm (i.e. approx. 11-11-12 cm from where it is divided), insert 1 marker in the middle of piece (= 12-15-16 dc on each side of marker). On next row dec 1 dc on each side of marker, i.e. beg 2 sts before marker and work the next 4 dc tog 2 by 2 – READ DECREASE TIP (= 2 dc dec). Work 1 row without dec. Repeat dec on next row (= 2 dc dec) = 20-26-28 sts remain on row. Work 1 row without dec, place slipper double and work tog mid back with a row with sl sts around both layers (slipper now measures approx. 22-24-27 cm from toe to heel). Fasten off.

EDGE:
Beg mid back and work a finishing edge at the top around the opening on slipper as follows: 1 dc in first st, * 1 ch, skip approx. ½ cm, 1 dc in next st *, repeat from *-* the entire round but finish with 1 sl st in dc from beg of round (instead of 1 dc in next st). Fasten off.

STRAP:
Work 5 ch on hook size 3.5 mm with aqua blue. Work 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, then work 1 dc in each of the next 3 ch = 4 dc on row. Then work back and forth with 1 dc in every dc -remember CROCHET INFO. When strap measures 10-11-12 cm, cut the yarn (cut the yarn long enough to fasten the strap). Fasten short sides of strap over opening on slipper.
Work another slipper the same way.

CROCHET FLOWER:
Work flower according to diagram A.1, i.e. work as follows:
Work 6 ch on hook size 3,5 mm with aqua blue and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: Work 2 ch (= 1 htr), 2 htr around ring, * 5 ch, 1 dc around the side of the last htr worked, 3 htr around ring *, repeat from *-* 4 more times, 5 ch, 1 dc around the side of the last htr worked, finish with 1 sl st in 2nd ch at beg of round = 6 ch-spaces with 3 htr between each. Fasten off.
ROUND 2: Switch to sea blue. Work 1 dc in the middle of the first 3 htr on round, skip 1 htr, * 10 tr in ch-space, skip 1 htr, 1 dc in next htr, skip 1 htr *, repeat from *-* 4 more times, 10 tr around last ch-space, finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round. Cut the yarn, fasten flower on strap on slipper. Work 1 more flower the same way.

Diagram

= 1 ch
= 1 dc in htr
= 1 htr around ch-ring
= 1 tr around ch-space
= 1 dc around side of last htr worked
= beg round with 1 dc and finish with 1 sl st in first dc
= beg round with 2 ch and finish with 1 sl st in 2nd ch
= 6 ch, 1 sl st in first ch (see point on ring, round beg and ends here)
