FRINGE TIP:
To get nice color transitions place the fringes so that they have the same color as the rows they are fastened in.

PONCHO:
Worked back and forth. Work 67-74-88 ch (includes 3 ch to turn with) on hook size 5 mm / H/8 with Big Delight.
Work according to diagram A.1-A.3, i.e. work as follows:
ROW 1 (= RS): Work 2 dc in 4th ch from hook, ch 1, * skip ch 6, 5 dc in next ch, 1 ch *, repeat from *-* 7-8-10 more times, skip ch 6, 3 dc in next ch.
ROW 2 (= WS): Work ch 4, * 1 dc around first/next ch, ch 2, 1 dc around same ch, 2 ch *, repeat from *-* 7-8-10 more times, 1 dc around next ch, ch 2, 1 dc around same ch, ch 1, finish with 1 dc around the first 3 ch at beg of previous row.
ROW 3: Work ch 4, skip ch 1, 5 dc around next ch-space, * ch 1, skip 1 ch-space, 5 dc around next ch-space *, repeat from *-* 7-8-10 more times, ch 1, finish with 1 dc around the first 4 ch at beg of previous row. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE!
ROW 4: Work ch 4, 1 dc around first ch, * ch 2, 1 dc around next ch, ch 2, 1 dc around same ch *, repeat from *-* 7-8-10 more times, ch 2, finish with 1 dc around the first 4 ch at beg of previous row, ch 1, 1 dc around same ch.
ROW 5: Work ch 3, 2 dc around first ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch-space, * 5 dc around next ch-space, ch 1, skip 1 ch-space *, repeat from *-* 7-8-10 more times, finish with 3 dc around the first 4 ch at beg of previous row.

Repeat rows 2-5 (= A.X) until piece measures approx. 112-120-128 cm / 44"-47"-50½"'' - adjust so that last row is from WS - fasten off.

ASSEMBLY:
Place cast-on edge against one long side and sew tog (opposite long side now forms a tip mid front).

FRINGES:
Insert fringes in every ch-space on last row and then up along one long side in every row. 1 FRINGE = Cut 2 lengths of 36 cm / 14 '' each. Fold them double and pull loop through ch-space. Then pull yarn ends through the loop - READ FRINGE TIP.
