Measurements: approx. 63 cm in the middle, and approx. 180 cm along the edge at the top.

400 g colour no 01, rose garden

DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (80 cm) SIZE 7 mm – or size needed to get 14 sts x 26 rows in garter st = 10 x 10 cm.

Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. There are different terms for crocheting in British and American English. If this pattern includes crochet, click for "crochet terms" here. For this pattern in American English, please click here.
GARTER ST (back and forth):
K all rows. 1 ridge = 2 rows K.

INCREASE TIP-1:
When working over all sts inc as follows (K YOs on next row = holes):
ROW 1 and 2: K 1, 1 YO, K rest of row.
ROW 3 and 4: K 1, 1 YO, K 1, 1 YO, K rest of row. Repeat these 4 rows.

INCREASE TIP-2:
When working short rows, work only over sts in one side, and inc as follows (K YOs on next row = holes).
Row 1: K 1, 1 YO, then work as explained.
Row 2: Work without inc.
Row 3: K 1, 1 YO, K 1, 1 YO, then work as explained.
Row 4: Work without inc.
Repeat these 4 rows.

SHAWL:
Worked back and forth on a circular needle to make room for all the sts. Cast on 3 sts on circular needle size 7 mm with Big Delight. Work in GARTER ST - see explanation above AT THE SAME TIME inc at beg of every row, alternately 1 and 2 sts - READ INCREASE TIP-1. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION When there are 45 sts on needle (14 ridges have been worked and piece measures approx. 11 cm), insert a marker after the first 15 sts on needle (seen from RS). Then work and inc as follows:

SHORT ROWS PART 1 (1st row = RS):
K until marker - remember inc in the side - READ INCREASE TIP-2, turn and K back. Turn and K until 1 st past marker, turn and K back. Continue to work over 1 st more on every turn until 16 ridges have been worked (short rows). Move marker to after last turn.
K 3 row over all sts, remember INCREASE TIP-1.

SHORT ROWS PART 2 (1st row = WS):
Work until marker, turn and work back. Remember inc in the side. Continue to work over 1 st more on every turn until 20 ridges have been worked (short rows). Move marker to after last turn.
K 3 row over all sts, remember inc in the sides.

SHORT ROWS PART 3 (1st row = RS):
Work until marker, turn and work back. Remember inc in the side. Continue to work over 1 st more on every turn until 20 ridges have been worked (short rows). Move marker to after last turn.
K 3 row over all sts, remember inc in the sides.

SHORT ROWS PART 4 (1st row = WS):
Work until marker, turn and work back. Remember inc in the side. Continue to work over 1 st more on every turn until 20 ridges have been worked (short rows). Move marker to after last turn.
K 3 row over all sts, remember inc in the sides.

SHORT ROWS PART 5 (1st row = RS):
Work until marker, turn and work back. Remember inc in the side. Continue to work over 1 st more on every turn until 14 ridges have been worked (short rows). Move marker to after last turn.
K 3 row over all sts, remember inc in the sides.

SHORT ROWS PART 6 (1st row = WS):
Work until marker, turn and work back. Remember inc in the side. Continue to work over 1 st more until 18 ridges have been worked (short rows). Move marker to after last turn.
K 3 row over all sts, remember inc in the sides.

SHORT ROWS PART 7 (1st row = RS):
Work until marker, turn and work back. Remember inc in the side. Continue to work over 1 st more until 8 ridges have been worked (short rows).
K 3 row over all sts, remember inc in the sides. LOOSELY cast off, use a thicker needle to avoid a tight edge.

Mit Sommerwiese ein 2. Tuch mit Nd.7 gestrickt. Es sieht auch ganz hervorragend aus. 3 Knäuel reichen, das fertige Tuch wiegt 304 g, ein Rest von 7 g bleiben übrig. Ein schönes Strickprojekt um zwischendurch mal richtig entspannt zu stricken.

Ein ganz tolles Tuch, leicht zu stricken und schnell fertig. Ich habe mit Nr.7 gestrickt, Maschenprobe okay, allerdings stricke ich meistens mit einer Nummer kleiner. Ich habe 334g benötigt, was bei diesem Garn und Muster kein Problem ist. Ich denke bei Kraus-Muster lässt man zwischendurch mit der Fadenspannung nach, besonders abends oder wenn man müde ist. Es fällt ja nicht auf. So hab ich mir die Garndifferenz erklärt. Ansonsten sind die Angaben immer genau. Schön wäre eine exakte Gramm-Menge.

300 gr räcker inte för att få den som på bilden. Skulle tro 500 gr är nog.

Bonjour j'adore votre site. J'ai pour la 1ere fois rencontré un problème de compréhension. Pour le debut des rangs raccourcis j'aurais aimé pouvoir lire qu'au 2eme il fallait poursuivre sur la 16eme maille. Merci de nous proposer autant de modèles.
