See diagrams A.1 to A.9.

Beg every dc row with 1 ch (replaces first dc).
Beg every tr row with 3 ch (replaces first tr).
Beg every dtr row with 4 ch (replaces first dtr).

Worked from the middle and outwards.
Work 181-205 ch on hook size 5 mm with Nepal. Work 1 tr in 4th ch from hook (= 2 tr), 1 tr in next ch, * skip 1 ch, 1 tr in each of the next 3 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire row = 135-153 tr. Work 1 dc in every tr (= WS) – read CROCHET INFO = 135-153 dc. * Then work as follows: A.4 over the first 4 dc, A.1 over the next 4 dc, A.2 over the next 114-132 dc (= 19-22 times in width), A.3 over the next 9 dc, finish with A.5 over the last 4 dc. Continue pattern like this. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When A.z has been worked 1 time vertically, work A.y over A.z 1-2 times in total. Then work A.x over A.y. When A.x has been worked 1 time vertically, work A.w over A.x 1-2 times in total *, repeat from *-* 1 more time vertically AT THE SAME TIME on last row in A.w inc 2-0 tr evenly (NOTE do not inc over A.4-A.5) = 137-153 tr. Then work as follows: A.6 over A.4, A.7 over the next 128-144 tr (= 8-9 times in width), A.8 over the next tr, finish with A.9 over A.5. Work A.6-A.9 1 time vertically. Fasten off. Then work from ch-row at beg of piece again the same way in opposite direction, i.e. work from WS 1 dc in every tr = 135-153 dc. Then work pattern the same way. Fasten off. Piece measures approx. 126-146 cm in total.

= dtr in st
= first row is explained in pattern
= 1 dc around ch

DROPS Design 10.04.2019 kl. 15:05:

Buongiorno Alessandra. I diagrammi A4 e A5 sono solo i bordi laterali. A4 sulle prime 4 maglie, A5 sulle ultime 4 maglie.

Bon crochet!

Jenny 29.11.2015 - 01:41:

The note says 'This pattern is written in British English.' But you use American abbreviations, do you?

DROPS Design 30.11.2015 kl. 10:37:

Dear Jenny, change language under the picture into "US-English" to get the american crochet terminology or click here for the pattern in US-English. Happy crocheting!

Bon crochet!

Elizabeth 19.06.2015 - 13:53:

So beautiful, this will be my next crochet project

Pauliina / Liljan Lankakauppa 03.06.2015 - 12:45:

Ihana aurinkoinen virkattu peitto.

Cornelia Sutter 27.05.2015 - 20:46:

Wunderschön! Würde ich gerne in weiss häckeln.
