CROCHET INFO: Beg every round with dc with 3 ch and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round, ch does not replace first dc. Beg every dc row with 3 ch. DECREASE TIP: Dec 1 dc by working the next 2 dc tog as follows: Work 1 dc but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), then work next dc but on last pull through, pull yarn through all 3 sts on hook. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1-A.10. Diagram A.8 shows how round beg and ends. NOTE: In diagram A.2-A.4, A.6 and A.10 first round in diagram is last round on previous diagram, it is not worked but shows how to continue. ---------------------------------------------------------- CIRCLE: Work 5 ch on hook size 5 mm / H/8 with Merino Extra Fine and form 1 ring with 1 sl st in first ch. I am working on me-080 Sea Glass. Do I replace the first treble with a 3 chain? Also on first row of a3 if I start with 4 chain would that be the first dtr of the 4 dtr pattern ? Am confused as how to start row as would leave a single dtr on its own at beginning and end of row x
22.01.2019 - 15:41DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Graygoose, begin every round with tr with 3 chains and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round, these 3 chains do not replace the first tr. In A.3, start the row with a black star with 4 chains and finish with 1 sl st in the 4th ch from beg of round. Happy crocheting!

Thanks you DROPS Design! I was misreading A.2 thinking I had to repeat all the rows six times!
21.11.2018 - 13:44Kira Smith wrote:
Do you have stitch counts for each row? I am having a problem after the first round of A.2. The stitch count was fine (120 total) after completion of the first A.2. I'm not sure on how to start the second A.2 and how many stitches should be in the first row of the second A.2 or subsequent rows. When I completed the second A.2 the piece was very ruffled, so much so that blocking wouldn't help. A stitch count for each row would be great. Thank you.
21.11.2018 - 05:46DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Smith, after you have completed A.2 and there are 120 sts in total you have now to work A.3 (12 times in the round = in width) starting on the row with the black star - after row 2 there are 13 sts in each A.3 (13x12 repeats) = 156 sts. On row 3 there are 14 sts x 12 repeats = 168 sts and so on. Happy crocheting!

Good morning. After working A.3 row 2...156 stitches.\\r\\nWhen working row 3 I cannot reach 168 stitches. I get 158 and I am 12 stitches short of completing the row. Any guidance would be appreciated.
25.10.2018 - 12:59DROPS Design answered:
Dear Amy, when working row 3 in A.3 you increase 1 stitch in the first stitch in each repeat, you'll then have 14 sts in each repeat x 12 repeats in width in the round = 168 sts. Happy crocheting!

I’m kinda stuck on part A3 and the armholes. Do I need to finish A3, then repeat A3 with armhole instructions or do I have to unwind the last few rounds to add the armholes? Because the description says finish A3 then add the armholes. But on the picture I see only one round of TCtogether.
20.10.2018 - 11:00DROPS Design answered:
Dear Cindy, armholes are worked differently depending on the size, in the first 2 sizes you will finish A.3 after armholes have been done then work A.4 1 time in height, in the largest size,, you will work the armholes on the last row in A.3 and then work A.4 1 time in height. Happy crocheting!

Hi, I need help please on A.2. I have had 2 attempts and at the end of A.2 worked 1 time vertically I keep coming up 104dc and 26ch so two extra groups in the pattern. I have 36 dc at the end of A1 so must be going wrong somewhere in A.2 although can't work out where?? Looking at the finished work I can't see anything odd in the pattern either? Thanks for your help!
09.09.2018 - 09:32DROPS Design answered:
Dear Tessa, you repeat A.2 a total of 6 times in the round, you should have (1 ch, 4 dc) x 4 in each repeaet on last round in A.2. You can add a marker between each repeat of A.2 to check your number of sts in each repeat at the end of each round so that you are sure to get the 96 dc + 4 ch at the end of last round in A.2. Happy crocheting!

Hi I am working on sleeves for L/XL size with 28 chain and 28 chain+ stitches on the body equals to 56 in all. In the part for instructions for sleeves after doing A7, you have instructed to make a chain of 16. 16 plus 13 from A7 makes a total of 29 stitches to be stitched in the body with 56 stitches. I am definitely getting this wrong. I have also watched the youtube video on this but it didn't clarify the situation much as I don't understand Arabic. :(
17.08.2018 - 15:07DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Sharma, to create armholes, you will skip 28 sts from circle and replace these 28 sts by 28 chains, then continue in pattern as explained. Sleeves will then been sewn afterwards to the skipped sts (towards back piece) and to the 28 chains (towards front pieces). Happy crocheting!
03.09.2018 - 14:46Payal Sharma wrote:
Sorry 2 bother you again. I have read the other Q&A too to clarify this step but this still not clear. for L armhole *-* is (dc ch skip) and is **-** (dc ch dc ch skip then *-*x4 then dc ch dc ch skip)? if above is clear then i don't have enough loops in my round(96dc and 96 ch from A4) to complete the armhole round. Can you simplify by stating chain 3 then XX no of sts then 28 ch for armhole then XX no of sts then 28 ch 2 b finished at beginning of round? Thanks in advance for clarification
02.08.2018 - 17:18DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Sharma, from the beg of round you will crochet a total of 28 dc (1 dc + 8 dc x3 + 4 dc), then chain for the armhole, crochet then 37 dc (8 dcx4 + 3dc + 2 dc), then chain for the 2nd armhole = 28 dc before 1st armhole + 37 dc between both armholes = 65 dc. Happy crocheting!

In A2 round id row 3 has 168 dc and row 4 states one dc and one chain then no of sts don't increase whereas the description says"When 2-3-4 rounds of A.3 have been worked (circle measures approx. 36-38-40 cm / 14 1/4"-15"-15 3/4" in diameter), there are 156-168-192 sts on round (= 156-168-96 dc and 0-0-96 ch)" How do no of stitches increase?
02.08.2018 - 13:21DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Sharma, round 2 in A.3 is the first round with dc (= 13 dc x 12 repeats = 156 dc. Round 3 in A.3 is the one with increases = 14 dc x 12 = 168 dc . Round 4 in A.3 is the one with dc/chains = 8 dc/8 ch x 12 = 96 dc + 96 chains = 192 sts. Happy crocheting!
