Dear Amy, when you are working the 12 sts for mid upper part, work the 1st and last st in garter st. See also the video in previous answer. Happy knitting!

31.10.2015 - 02:43DROPS Design answered:
Dear Amy, the video below shows how to pick up sts without the working yarn - pick up 12 sts on each side of mid part, slip sts from thread back onto needle = you will have 61 sts and be ready to continue as in this video - time code 5:18). Happy knitting!

To whom it may concern: The problem I am having is I have the 10 stitches on my needle for the top portion of the slipper but when I reach the 7 cm am I suppose to increase on those 10 stitches to reach the number 61 stitches that I need or do I start increasing after after the 7 cm. It says to pick up 12 stitches after I reach the 7 cm on either side of the edge stitch. That is where I am having the problem. Thank you again for your help
29.10.2015 - 04:56DROPS Design answered:
Dear Amy, after you have worked the 7 cm over the mid sts, and 10 sts left, pick up 12 sts along both side of the upper foot (along right side of the middle part + along left side of the middle part) + slip sts from thread back on needle = you have a total of 61 sts on needle and your work looks like as in video, time code 5:18 approx. Happy knitting!

To whom it may concern: I am still confused as to how many rows I need because there is no explanation for when I go to start the pattern 2 portion of the slipper part and how many increases I need to reach the required amount of sts as well. I tried to watch the video but it was hard to follow when the sped up the knitting part. Thank you again for your help Amy
28.10.2015 - 16:04DROPS Design answered:
Dear Amy, wijth pattern 2 portion of the slipper part, do you mean the edge around leg? Work first 4 ridges in garter st (= 8 K rows) but on the 8th K row increase 6 sts evenly - see here how to increase evenly. Then work following A.1 until 35-38 cm, work 4 ridges (8 K rows), but on the 1st of these 8 rows, decrease 6 sts evenly. Happy knitting!

If you could let me know it would be appreciated Thank you in advance for your help
25.10.2015 - 15:34DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs De Veas, you work in stocking st for sole dec on mid front and mid back for 3-4 cm (see size), number of rounds/decrease will depend on your tension of height (how many rows you need to reach the required measurements) - see also video below. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!

RIPSKUDE (ringselt kududes): koo 1 ring parempidi, 1 ring pahempidi. RIPSKUDE (edasi-tagasi kududes): koo kõik read parempidi. MUSTER Vaata skeemi A.1. Skeemil on näidatud iga rida. MUSTER 2 1. RIDA (= töö PP): *2 pr, 2 ph*, korda *kuni*, kuni jääb 2 s, 2 pr. 2. RIDA (= töö PH): koo parempidised silmused pr, pahempidised silmused ph. Korda 2. rida. --------------------------- SUSS Alguses koo sääre alumine serv, siis jalalaba. Seejärel koo kohev sääre ülemine osa. SÄÄRE ALUMINE OSA Loo 37-37-39 s 6 mm sukavarrastele Andes lõngaga. Koo ringselt ripskoes – vaata ülevalt, kuni töö pikkus on umbes 4 cm, lõpeta pärast 1 ph ringi. JÄLGI KOETIHEDUST! JALAPEALNE Koo edasi-tagasi. Nüüd hoia esimesed 10 s vardal, tõsta ülejäänud 27-27-29 s silmusehoidjale. Nüüd koo keskmine osa MUSTRI 2 järgi – vaata ülevalt, 10 silmusega – SAMAL AJAL kahe järgmise rea lõpus loo üles 1 uus ääresilmus (koo ääresilmused ripskoes – vaata ülevalt) = 12 s. Kui keskmise osa pikkus on 7-8,5-10 cm, kahanda 1 ääresilmus mõlemal serval = 10 s. Siis tõsta silmusehoidjale olevad silmused tagasi vardale ja korja üles 12-14-16 s mõlema pool keskmist osa (1 ääresilmuse kõrval) = 61-65-71 s on vardal. EDASI MÕÕDA SIIT! Paigalda 1 silmusemärkija (SM) keskmise osa 10 silmuse keskele (= varbaotsa keskkoht) ja 1 SM kanna keskmisele silmusele, SM-d vahel on 30-32-35 s. Nüüd koo ringselt ripskoes. Kui töö pikkus on 2 cm, koo 2 s pr kokku mõlemal pool mõlemat SM-i igal teisel ringil (= 4 s vähem igal ringil). Jätka kahandamist, kuni töö pikkus on 5-5-6 cm. Koo ülejäänud silmused maha. Õmble talla alt kinni ääresilmuste eesaasadest, et vältida paksu õmblust. LÕDVA SÄÄREOSA Kootakse edasi-tagasi. Loo 22 s 6 mm varrastele Andes lõngaga. Koo 8 rida ripskoes, SAMAL AJAL viimasel ringil kasvata 6 s ühtlaste vahedega = 28 s. Koo skeemi A.1 (= 28 s), kuni töö pikkus on umbes 35-36-38 cm. Koo 8 rida ripskoes, SAMAL AJAL kahanda esimesel real 6 s ühtlaste vahedega = 22 s. Koo silmused maha. |
