Repeat A.z until piece measures approx. 28-28-35-35-35 cm / 11"-11"-13 3/4"-13 3/4"-13 3/4", finish after one whole repetition of A.z. Fasten off. Piece measures approx. 46-48-56-58-59 cm / 18"-19"-22"-22 3/4"-23 1/4" from shoulder.

SLEEVE:
Worked in the round. NOW MEASURE PIECE FROM HERE. Worked top down. Beg by working mid under sleeve as follows: Work 2 sc in the first ch (of the 8 ch), 1 sc in each of the next 7 ch and 1 sc in each of the 40-44-48-52-56 sc from yoke = 49-53-57-61-65 sc. Continue to work as follows: ch 4, A.1, A.2 over the next 40-44-48-52-56 sts (= 10-11-12-13-14 times in width), finish with A.3 and 1 sl st in fourth ch. Continue like this until piece measures approx. 14-14-21-21-21 cm / 5½"-5½"-8 1/4"-8 1/4"-8 1/4", finish after one whole repetition of A.z. Fasten off.

Hej.

DROPS Design 12.06.2018 kl. 10:39:

Hei Mia. Det kan se ut som du har glemt å telle med A.4 og A.1 som hekles helt på starten av omgangen (=12 masker), og A.3 og A.4 som hekles helt på slutten av omgangen (=9 masker). Dette blir totalt 21 masker. God fornøyelse.

Katharine 17.05.2018 - 14:03:

Small size I have finished the yoke first row on body

DROPS Design 18.05.2018 kl. 08:30:

Dear Katharine, On very first row on body you will work as before but skip some sts for sleeve replaced by 8 chains, then on next row you continue as before with A.4 (= front band sts), A.1, A.2 over the next 24 sts (= 6 times), skip the 8 ch and repeat A.2 over the next 60 sts on back piece, skip the 8 ch and repeat A.2 over the next 24 sts, finish with A.3 1 time and A.4 (front band sts). Happy crocheting!

Katharine 17.05.2018 - 11:06:

Ido 2 lots of A1 and A2 to get 6 v

Katharine 17.05.2018 - 11:02:

Ihave the right amount of stitches on the row but when I do 6a4 then a1 a2 twice when i get to the end of the row I have more stitches left

DROPS Design 17.05.2018 kl. 13:23:

Dear Katharine, can you tell us which size you are working on? and where you are exactly on the pattern (yoke/body/sleeve)?

Katharine 17.05.2018 - 00:34:

When I start the body, in the first row I do the required amount of stitches and when I reach the end I have to add two A2s to reach the end of the row.. What am I doing wrong?

DROPS Design 17.05.2018 kl. 08:37:

Dear Katharine, make sure you have the correct number of sts on previous row. Insert a marker between each diagram can help you to check number of sts/repeats. Happy crocheting!

Jannie Vreeke 27.04.2018 - 15:05:

De eerste toer van het telpatroon is voor mij onduidelijk .ik heb het als volgt gehaakt A4 1l-2v overslaan-2dst-3l-3v overslaan-2 dsk-4l-2v overslaan en dit herhalen. kunt u zeggen of dit goed is .word er met 24keer bedoeld 24 keer de dubbele stokjes of 24 keer A1 en A2 .ik kom nu aan 30 keer de dst

DROPS Design 29.04.2018 kl. 17:35:

Ashley Robinette 11.03.2018 - 16:51:

For the 8 ch for the sleeve, do you do the 3 chain from the end of A.2? So the chain for the sleeve would be an 11 ch?

DROPS Design 12.03.2018 kl. 10:06:

Dear Mrs Robinette, since you need to repeat A.2 you will have to crochet the last 3 chains in A.2 before working the 8 chains - working on sleeve remember 3 of these chains "belong" to body. Happy crocheting!

Ashley Robinette 07.03.2018 - 19:44:

Can you please tell me how many stitches I should at the end of row 3 of the first A.z on the yoke? Also what number of stitches do I need to divide by 40 for row 4? I am sorry this is so difficult for me but this is probably the most technical pattern I have worked on. Thank you

DROPS Design 08.03.2018 kl. 11:00:

Dear Mrs Robinette, on row 3 in A.z you will have the same number of sts as in row 1. You will only increase on the last 2 rows in A.z ie row 4 and 5 (= both sc rows), so 149 + 40 sc = 189 sc at the end of row 4 in first A.z and 189-40= 229 sc at the end of row 5 in first A.z. Work then one more repeat of A.z in height inc 38 sts on row 4 (= 229+38= 267 sc) and 38 sts on row 5 (267+38=305 sc). Happy crocheting!

Ashley Robinette 07.03.2018 - 18:13:

Ok, I had done the increase on every 4th and 5th stitch and I only got 30 extra stitches giving me a total of 179. If I got 149/40 = 3.425 would I round down to 3 or up to 3.5? When I did an increase on every 3rd and 4th stitch, I got 39 increases for a total of 188. That is close but I am having so much trouble with this. I am even using Excel to figure it out and no matter what I do, I cannot get 40 stitches evenly. Thank you for your help.

DROPS Design 08.03.2018 kl. 10:56:

Dear Mrs Robinette, you will have to increase sometimes with 3 sts and sometimes with 4 sts between the increases until you have increased total of 40 sts. Happy crocheting!

Ashley Robinette 07.03.2018 - 02:56:

Can you please clarify the first increase for the largest size? I had 149 stitches, need to increase by 40 evenly but not over the beginning and ending 6 stitches. So I did 137÷40 and got 3.425. I took that to mean 3.5 which is 3 sts then inc then 4 sts and inc then 3 again. Every time I do that I end up with 179 stitches. Please help.

DROPS Design 07.03.2018 kl. 09:04:

Dear Mrs Robinette, make sure you are increasing 40 sts in this row, you should have then: 6 front band sts, 177 sts, 6 front band sts = 189 sts - you should increase alternately in every 4th st and 5th st so that you work (3 sts, 2 sts in next st) and (4 sts, 2 sts in next st) evenly spaced to get the 40 increases (read more about increasing evenly here. Happy crocheting!
