DROPS CROCHET HOOK SIZE 4.5 mm - or size needed to get approx. 4 ch-loops of 5 ch = width 10 cm.

Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. BOBBLE:
1 bobble = 3 tr worked tog. This is done as follows: Work 1 tr but wait with last pull through, work 1 more tr, wait with last pull through, work 1 more tr but wait with last pull through, make 1 YO and pull thread through all 4 loops on hook.

NECK WARMER:
The piece is worked top down. Work back and forth - at the same time work all rounds tog at the end of every row to avoid sewing the piece tog at the end.
Crochet 96 loose ch on hook size 4.5 mm with light pink and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: * 5 ch, skip 3 ch, 1 dc in next ch *, repeat from *-*, finish with 5 ch and 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round (= 24 ch-loops). Turn piece.
ROUND 2: 5 ch, 1 dc in first ch-loop, 2 ch, 1 sl st in dc (= picot), * 5 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop, 2 ch, 1 sl st in dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of round, finish with 2 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round (= 25 ch-loops, i.e. 23 large and 1 small on each side of mid back). Turn piece.
ROUND 3: 7 ch, 1 dc in first large ch-loop, 2 ch, 1 sl st in dc, * 5 ch, 1 dc in next large ch-loop, 2 ch, 1 sl st in dc *, repeat from *-*, finish with 5 ch and 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round (= 24 large ch-loops). Turn piece.
Repeat 2nd and 3rd round until a total of 15 rounds have been worked, i.e. finish after 3rd round.

ROUND 16: 6 ch, 1 dc in first ch-loop, 2 ch, 1 sl st in dc (= picot), * 6 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop, 2 ch, 1 sl st in dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of round, finish with 3 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round (= 25 ch-loops, i.e. 23 large and 1 small on each side of mid back). Turn piece.
ROUND 17: 8 ch, 1 dc in first large ch-loop, 2 ch, 1 sl st in dc, * 6 ch, 1 dc in next large ch-loop, 2 ch, 1 sl st in dc *, repeat from *-*, finish with 6 ch and 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round (= 24 large ch-loops). Turn piece.
ROUND 18: 7 ch, 1 dc in first ch-loop, 2 ch, 1 sl st in dc (= picot), * 7 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop, 2 ch, 1 sl st in dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of round, finish with 4 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round (= 25 ch-loops, i.e. 23 large and 1 small on each side of mid back). Turn piece.
ROUND 19: 9 ch, 1 dc in first large ch-loop, 2 ch, 1 sl st in dc, * 7 ch, 1 dc in next large ch-loop, 2 ch, 1 sl st in dc *, repeat from *-*, finish with 7 ch and 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round (= 24 large ch-loops). Turn piece.
ROUND 20: Work as 18th round.
ROUND 21: 9 ch, 1 dc in first large ch-loop, * 7 ch, 1 dc in next large ch-loop *, repeat from *-*, finish with 7 ch and 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round (= 24 ch-loops).
Cut the thread, turn piece and switch to off white.
Continue with LACE - see explanation below.

LACE:
Work first 1 round with 6 dc in every ch-loop = 144 dc.
ROUND 1: Work 1 sl st in each of the first 3 dc, 5 ch, in same dc (where the 5 ch are worked from) work: [1 dtr, 1 ch] 4 times, * skip 5 dc, 1 dc in next dc, 1 ch, skip 5 dc, in next dc work: [1 dtr, 1 ch] 5 times *, repeat from *-* until 9 dc remain, skip the first 5 dc, 1 dc in next dc, 1 ch, skip the last 3 dc and work 1 sl st in 4th ch from beg of round. Turn piece.
ROUND 2: 4 ch, in first dc work [1 triple tr, 2 ch] 5 times, skip 2 dtr, work 1 dc in next dtr, * 2 ch, in next dc work: [1 triple tr, 2 ch] 5 times, skip 2 dtr, work 1 dc in next dtr *, repeat from *-* the rest of round, finish with 2 ch and 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round. Turn piece.
ROUND 3: 2 ch, 1 dc in first dc, * 4 ch, skip 1 ch-loop, [in next ch-loop work 1 BOBBLE – see explanation above, 3 ch], repeat from [-] a total of 4 times, 4 ch, skip 1 ch-loop, 1 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of round but instead of last dc, finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round. Turn piece.
ROUND 4: 1 ch, 3 dc in first ch-loop, * 3 ch, 1 dc in the first of the 3 ch (= 1 picot), 3 dc in next ch-loop *, repeat from *-* the rest of round, finish with 1 picot and 1 sl st in first dc on round. Cut and fasten the thread.

Crochet 1 round with off white at the top around the neck as follows:
3 dc in first ch-loop, * 3 ch, 1 dc in the first of the 3 ch (= 1 picot), 3 dc in next ch-loop *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 picot and 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round. Cut and fasten the thread.

Guten Tag! Ich habe eine Frage zur Beschreibung: Dort steht "Je 6 fm in jeden LM-Bogen". Muss ich dann in die Maschen je eine fM häkeln? Oder die fM um den Lm-Bogen herum? Und was passiert dann mit den Picots? Vielen Dank

Liebe Frau Borrmann, Sie häkeln um die Lm-Bögen herum und stechen nicht in die M ein. In der letzten Rd vor der Spitze (21. Rd) werden ja keine Picots mehr gehäkelt, daher können Sie die 6 fM einfach um die Lm-Bögen (aus je 7 Lm) herumhäkeln.
