HDC ROW:
Beg every hdc row with ch 2 (not counted as 1st hdc), work 1 hdc in 1st ch-space, then ch 1 and 1 hdc in every ch-space, finish with ch 1 and 1 hdc in 1st ch-space from previous row, turn piece.

HEAD BAND:
Worked back and forth. Ch 105 with Safran on hook size 3.5 mm/E/4, then 1 hdc in 5th ch from hook (= 1st hdc + ch 2 + 1 hdc), * skip ch 1, 1 ch, 1 hdc in next ch *, repeat from *-*, turn piece = 52 hdc and 51 ch-spaces. Then work HDC ROW - Read explanation above - until piece measures approx. 4 cm / 1½'' vertically, do not cut the yarn.

CROCHET EDGE:
Work 1 sc in 1st ch-space on row, * in next ch-space work 3 sc with ch 3 between every sc, then 1 sc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* the entire row, fasten off. Repeat on the other side of head band.

TIES:
Chain a band of approx. 28 cm / 11'', fasten the band in one corner on the head band with 1 sl st, turn and work 1 sl st in every ch back, fasten off. Repeat in every corner on the head band = 4 ties.

FLOWER:
Worked in the round with Safran on hook size 3.5 mm/E/4. Ch 5 and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch.
ROUND 1: ch 1, * 1 sc in ch-ring, 3 ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 6 times, finish with 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round = 6 sc and 6 ch-spaces.
ROUND 2: Crochet as follows in every ch-space: 1 sc, 3 dc, 1 sc. Finish round with 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round = 6 leaves, turn piece - work next round on the back of the flower.
ROUND 3: ch 1, 1 sc in 1st sc from 1st round, * ch 4, 1 sc in next sc from 1st round *, repeat from *-* a total of 5 times, finish with ch 4 and 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round = 6 sc and 6 ch-spaces, turn piece – work next round on the front of flower.
ROUND 4: Work as follows in every ch-space from 3rd round: 1 sc, 5 dc, 1 sc. Finish round with 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round = 6 leaves, turn piece - work next round on the back of the flower.
ROUND 5: ch 1, 1 sc in 1st sc from 3rd round, * ch 5, 1 sc in next sc from 3rd round *, repeat from *-* a total of 5 times, finish with ch 5 and 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round = 6 sc and 6 ch-spaces, turn piece – work next round from the front of flower.
ROUND 6: Crochet as follows in every ch-space: 1 sc, 7 dc, 1 sc. Finish round with 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round = 6 leaves, fasten off.

Make 2 more flowers but work only round 1 to 4 (= 2 smaller flowers). Sew the flowers on to the head band.
