CROCHET INFO:
Replace first dc at beg of round with 1 ch. Finish every dc round with 1 sl st in first ch on round (i.e. in first dc).

STRIPES:
Work 1 round in each colour in the following order: denim blue, off white, ice blue, light purple, wine and denim blue (= 6 rounds). TIP: To get a nice transition between the colour changes, switch colour when picking up the thread in sl st at end of round as follows: Insert hook through 3rd ch at beg of round, pick up the new colour, pull the thread through ch and st on hook and continue next round with the new colour.
--------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------

HAT:
Crochet 4 ch on hook size 3.5 mm with denim blue Muskat and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. READ CROCHET INFO!
ROUND 1: Work 5 dc in ch-ring.
ROUND 2: Work 2 dc in every dc = 10 dc.
ROUND 3: * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 15 dc.
ROUND 4: * 1 dc in each of the 2 first dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 20 dc.
ROUND 5: * 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 25 dc. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION!

Continue inc like this with 5 sts more on every round until a total of 16-18-18 rounds have been worked – NOTE: Inc the same place as on previous round, i.e. 1 dc more between every inc on every round. Inc as before by working 2 dc in 1 dc = 80-90-90 dc. Now work 1 more round in Size S and L while AT THE SAME TIME inc 4-6 dc evenly = 84-90-96 dc.
Work 1 dc in every dc until piece measures 11-12-13 cm from the middle. Then work a border with tr-groups in STRIPES - see explanation above - as follows:
ROUND 1: 3 ch, 2 tr in same dc, * 1 ch, skip 2 dc, 3 tr in next dc *, repeat from *-* until 2 dc remain and finish round with 1 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round = 28-30-32 tr-groups (switch to off white).
ROUND 2: 4 ch, * 3 tr in next ch, 1 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 2 tr in last ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round = 28-30-32 tr-groups.
ROUND 3: 1 sl st in first ch, 3 ch, 2 tr in same ch, * 1 ch, 3 tr in next ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round = 28-30-32 tr-groups.
ROUND 4: Work as 2nd round = 28-30-32 tr-groups.
ROUND 5: Work as 3rd round = 28-30-32 tr-groups.
ROUND 6: Work as 2nd round = 28-30-32 tr-groups.
ROUND 7: Now work with denim blue until finished measurements. Work 1 dc in every tr the entire round = 84-90-96 dc.
Continue to crochet the brim as follows:
ROUND 1: Work 1 dc in every dc.
ROUND 2: * Work 1 dc in each of the first 5 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 98-105-112 dc.
ROUND 3-7: Work 1 dc in every dc = 98-105-112 dc.
ROUND 8: * Work 1 dc in each of the first 6 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 112-120-128 dc.
ROUND 9-13: Work 1 dc in every dc = 112-120-128 dc.
ROUND 14: Work 1 dc in every dc while AT THE SAME TIME inc 8-9-10 dc evenly = 120-129-138 dc.
ROUND 15: 3 ch, 2 tr in same dc, * 1 ch, skip 2 dc, 3 tr in next dc *, repeat from *-* until 2 dc remain and finish with 1 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round = 40-43-46 tr-groups. Cut and fasten the threads.
