I would like to make this if you think about this question. I make it made longer to about my knees. Do you think that is possible with this pattern?

Dear Karen, if you want to lengthen the back piece, then it's not possible to use this pattern. Happy knitting!

Can this be knit in stockinette stitch?

Dear Teresa, yes, it can be knitted in stockinette stitch. You don't need to recalculate the amount of stitches for this.

Hej.

Måste fattas nåt i beskrivningen.

Hi I am knitting this model which I found very nice and I found that the measurement that you give for small seems to be to small ( short) for a lady. Is it a size for children.
24.11.2018 - 00:32DROPS Design answered:
Dear Olive, no, size S is for a small lady. Please knit a swatch and make sure your knitting tension is correct, and chose a bigger size if necessary. Happy Knitting!

Bon tricot!

Knitted DROPS shoulder piece in 4 threads "Kid-Silk". Size: S - XXXL.
DROPS 130-22 |

MOSS ST: 1st row: * K1, P1 *, repeat from *-*. 2nd row: K over P and P over K. Repeat 2nd row -------------------------------------------------------- First work a domino square for mid back. Then knit up sts along the edges of the square for side pieces. DOMINO SQUARE: The domino square is worked top down. The entire square is worked in garter st, i.e. K all rows. Loosely cast on 11 sts on needle 7 mm with 4 threads Kid-Silk. Insert a marker in the middle st. Work back and forth while AT THE SAME TIME inc 1 st each side of marker by making 1 YO, on next row K YO twisted, i.e. in back loop of st instead of front, to avoid holes. Repeat inc each side of marker on every row from RS (= every other row). Continue like this until piece measures 26-28-31-33-36-39 cm (measured at the side, in knitting direction). Cast off loosely. LEFT SIDE PIECE: Knit up 31-33-37-39-43-47 sts (i.e. approx. 1 st in every 2 Garter st) along the left side at the top of the Domino square (11 sts cast on edge = mid back of neckline). Work back and forth in MOSS ST - see explanation above - 36-38-40-43-46-49 cm. Cast off loosely. RIGHT SIDE PIECE: Knit up 31-33-37-39-43-47 sts along the right side at top of the Domino square and work as left side piece. In addition after 33-35-37-40-43-46 cm, cast off for 1 button hole as follows: Cast off the 4th and 5th st at beg of row from WS. On next row cast on 2 new sts over the cast off sts. Cast off loosely when piece measures 36-38-40-43-46-49 cm. ASSEMBLY: Sew the button on at the top of the left side piece. |
