EASTER BUNNY BOOK MARK:
Crochet the head first, then continue with body and finish with the legs, feet, arms and ears. Crochet with 1 strand Alpaca and crochet hook size 2.5 mm/US C/2.

HEAD:
Ch 4 with off-white and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: 8 sc in ch-ring – see CROCHET TIP!
ROUND 2: 2 sc in each sc = 16 sc.
ROUND 3: * 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* = 24 sc.
ROUND 4: * 1 sc in each of the first 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* = 32 sc.
Crochet 8 rounds with 1 sc in each sc.
REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE!
ROUND 13: * 3 sc, skip 1 sc *, repeat from *-* = 24 sc.
ROUND 14: * 2 sc, skip 1 sc *, repeat from *-* = 16 sc.
ROUND 15: * 1 sc, skip 1 sc *, repeat from *-* = 8 sc.
Fill a little stuffing in the head and crochet the opening at bottom tog by working 4 sc through both layers – do not cut the thread but continue with the body.

BODY:
Continue back and forth in stripes as follows: 2 rows off-white and 2 rows light pink alternately. First work 1 row with 2 sc in each sc = 8 sc. Now work 1 sc in each sc, but on every other row inc 1 sc each side by working 2 sc in the outermost sc until there are 16 sc on row. Work 20 rows with 1 sc in each sc. Now dec 1 sc each side on every other row by skipping the last but one sc each side until there are 10 sc left on row, cut the light pink thread and continue with the off-white thread for legs.

LEG:
Work 1 sc with off-white in each of the first 4 sc, turn with 1 ch and work sc back and forth on the 4 sc until leg measures approx 10 cm / 4'', cut the thread.
Crochet a similar leg on the first 4 sc at the bottom on the other side of body.

FOOT:
Ch 4 with black and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: 6 sc in ch-ring
ROUND 2: 2 sc in each sc = 12 sc.
Continue in the round with 1 sc in each sc until foot measures approx 3.5 cm / 1 1/4'', fill a little stuffing in the foot and crochet it tog, i.e. place foot double and work sc through both layers (= back of heel). Crochet 1 more foot in the same way and sew feet to each leg, let the feet stick out to the side.

ARM:
Crochet 4 sc with off-white at the top along one side of body, then work 4 sc on the back of these = a total of 8 sc. Continue in the round with 1 sc in each of the 8 sc until arm measures 5 cm / 2'', cut the thread.

HAND:
Change to light pink. Work 1 round with 2 sc in each sc = 16 sc. Work 3 rounds with 1 sc in each sc, then 1 round working 2 sc tog all the way round. Cut the thread, fill a little stuffing in the hand, tighten thread round the 8 remaining sc and fasten.
Crochet 1 more arm + hand in the same way on the other side of body.

EAR:
Ch 5 with off-white and form a ring with 1 sl st.
ROUND 1: 6 sc in ring.
ROUND 2: 1 sc in each of the first 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sc and 2 sc in the last sc = 8 sc.
ROUND 3: 1 sc in each of the first 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of the next 3 sc and 2 sc in the last sc = 10 sc.
Continue in the round with 1 sc in each sc until ear measures approx 5 cm / 2'', now work 2 sc tog all the way round = 5 sc, cut the thread, tighten round the remaining 5 sc and fasten. Crochet 2 ears and sew them to the top of head.

FACE:
Embroider eyes, mouth and whiskers with black and snout with light pink. Sew a couple of long stitches with light pink at the front bottom of ears – see picture.

SCARF:
Ch 4 with light pink, turn and work 1 sc in each of the last 3 ch. Turn with 1 ch and work 1 sc in each sc until scarf measures approx 20 cm / 8'', cut the thread.
