Now work 1 dc in each dc, but on every other row inc 1 dc each side by working 2 dc in the outermost dc until there are 18 dc on row. Work 6 rows with 1 dc in each dc. Now dec 1 dc each side on every other row by skipping the last but one dc each side until there are 8 dc left on row, cut the thread.

Work 1 dc with goldenrod in 2nd row on left side of body (crochet from RS), and continue with 12 loose ch.
Turn, skip first ch, work 1 sl st in 2nd ch and then 1 dc in each of the last 10 ch, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd row on body.
Turn with 1 ch and work 1 dc in each of the first 9 dc.
