PATTERN:
See diagram M.1 – diagram shows 1 pattern repeat.
HEEL DECREASES:
Row 1 (= RS): Work stocking st until 6-7-7 sts remain, slip next st as if to K, K1, psso, turn piece.
Row 2 (= WS): Work stocking st until 6-7-7 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to P, P1, psso, turn piece.

Row 4 (= WS): ): Work stocking st until 5-6-6 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to P, P1, psso,
Continue dec like this with 1 less st between each dec until 13-13-15 sts remain on needle.

SOCK:
Worked in the round on double pointed needles.
Cast on 57-61-65 sts on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with Alpaca. K 3 rounds and continue as follows: Rib, K1/P1 on the first 23-25-27 sts, P 5-6-7, M.1 (= 24 sts) and P 5-6-7. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
When piece measures 10-11-12 cm keep the first 23-25-27 sts on needle for heel and slip the remaining 34-36-38 sts on a stitch holder (= mid upper foot). Work stocking st back and forth on heel-sts for 5-5.5-6 cm. Insert a marker in heel – now measure piece from here! Now dec for heel - see HEEL DECREASES. After heel dec pick up 13-14-15 sts each side of heel and slip the 34-36-38 sts from stitch holder back on needle = 73-77-83 sts. Continue in M.1 with 5-6-7 P sts each side on sts on upper foot and stocking st on remaining sts, AT THE SAME TIME dec each side as follows: K2 tog into back of loop before the 34-36-38 middle sts on upper foot and K2 tog after the middle 34-36-38 sts on upper foot. Repeat the dec on every other round a total of 10-10-11 times = 53-57-61 sts. Continue until piece measures 18-19-22 cm from marker on heel (approx 4-5-5 cm remain). Now insert a marker each side with 26-28-30 sts on upper foot and 27-29-31 sts under foot. Continue in stocking st on all sts, AT THE SAME TIME dec for toes each side of both markers – beg 3 sts before marker: K2 tog, K2 (marker sits between these 2 sts), K2 tog into back of loop. Repeat the dec each side on every other round a total of 4-6-6 times and then on every round 6-5-6 times = 13 sts left on needle. Cut the thread, pull it through remaining sts, tighten and fasten.
