Size: 35/37 - 38/40 - 41/43
Materials: DROPS ALPACA
100 g colour no 100, off-white
And use: DROPS KID-SILK
50 g for all sizes colour no 01, off-white

DROPS DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLES size 3.5 mm – or size needed to get 22 sts x 30 rows in stocking st with 1 thread of each quality = 10 x 10 cm.

Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. There are different terms for crocheting in British and American English. If this pattern includes crochet, click for "crochet terms" here. For this pattern in American English, please click here.
PATTERN:
See diagram M.1. Diagram shows the pattern from RS.
KNITTING TIP:
Pick up 1 st in the first cast off st, on next round work this st tog with the st before (to keep cast off and cast on rows in place.

YOGA SOCK:
Cast on 64-70-76 sts on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm with 1 thread of each quality. K 1 round. Insert a marker at beg of round. Continue in rib as follows:
K1, * P4, K2 *, repeat from *-* until 27 sts remain, work these as follows: P2, K2, P4, K4, P4, K2, P2, K2, P4 and K1. When rib measures approx 3 cm continue as follows:
K1, * P4, K2 *, repeat from *-* until 27 sts remain, work these as follows: M.1 (= 20 sts), K2, P4 and K1. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures approx 5-4-4 cm dec 1 st in every other P-section (do not dec on M.1). When piece measures 9 cm dec 1 st in remaining P-sections = 57-62-67 sts. Continue in rib and pattern.
When piece measures 13-14-15 cm dec 1 st in every other P-section. When piece measures 17-19-21 cm dec 1 st in remaining P-sections = 50-54-58 sts. Continue until piece measures 21-23-25 cm. Now cast off the first 20-24-28 sts on round for heel. Continue in the round and cast on 20-24-28 new sts over the cast off sts on next round. See KNITTING TIP! Continue in the round with pattern on upper foot and rib under foot as before. When piece measures 2 cm from the new cast on sts dec 1 st in every other P-section. When piece measures approx 8 cm from the new cast on sts dec 1 st in remaining P-sections = 43-46-49 sts. Continue in rib and pattern until piece measures 11-12-13 cm from the new cast on sts. Now work 1 cm rib on all sts (in M.1 work K over K and P over P, according to the last row in pattern). Piece now measures 12-13-14 cm from the new cast on sts. Cast off with K over K and P over P.

Dear Marlayne, yes, you could use 2 short (40 cm long) circular needles instead of set of DPNS. Happy knitting!

Die Anleitung ist gedacht für Drops Alpaca *und* Drops Kid-Silk. Bedeutet das, dass man beide Fäden gleichzeitig verstrickt? Das ist mir leider überhaupt nicht klar. Das hält mich leider davon ab, das sehr hübsche Muster auszuprobieren.

Hej! jag undrar hur man ska sticka hälen, efter att man har maskat av... Ska jag sticka några varv eller ska jag sticka fram och tillbaka på 3 stickor?? MVH Elin Granström
