Hej!

PATTERN: See diagram M.1 - diagram is seen from RS and shows 1 pattern repeat. The entire pattern is worked in stockinette st. ---------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------- BODY PIECE: Worked back and forth on circular needle from mid front. Cast on 244-268-292-316-348-380 sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on circular needle size 2.5 mm / US 1 with gray. Work rib as follows (row 1 = RS): 1 edge st (K on every row), * K2, P2 *, repeat from *-*, finish with K2 and 1 edge st (K on every row). When rib measures 6 cm / 2 3/8’’ work 1 row from RS, AT THE SAME TIME dec all P2 to P1 = 184-202-220-238-262-286 sts. Change to circular needle size 3 mm / US 2or3 and continue in stockinette st. REMEMBER THE GAUGE! When piece measures 22-23-24-25-26-27 cm / 8¾”-9”-9½”-9¾”-10¼”-10 5/8” work next row as follows from RS: work 40-45-49-54-60-66 sts, bind off 12 sts for armhole, work 80-88-98-106-118-130 sts, bind off 12 sts for armhole and work 40-45-49-54-60-66 sts = 160-178-196-214-238-262 sts on needle. Put piece aside and knit the sleeve edges. SLEEVE EDGE: Worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 114-114-122-122-126-130 sts on circular needle size 2.5 mm / US 1 with gray and work rib = K2 / P2 with 1 edge st each side (K on every row). When piece measures 3 cm / 1 1/8’’ work 1 row, AT THE SAME TIME dec all P2 to P1 = 86-86-92-92-95-98 sts. Now bind off 7 sts each side = 72-72-78-78-81-84 sts left on needle. Put piece aside and knit the other sleeve edge. YOKE: Slip sleeve edges on the same circular needle size 3 mm / US 2or3 as body piece where bind off for armholes = 304-322-352-370-400-430 sts. P first row from WS, AT THE SAME TIME inc 3-1-3-1-3-5 sts evenly = 307-323-355-371-403-435 sts. Work 0-2-6-8-12-14 rows stockinette st with gray, then continue in M.1 (row 1 = RS) with 1 edge st each side as before (work the last but one st on row like first st in M.1, but without dec so that pattern will be identical each side of mid front). When all dec are complete there are 117-123-135-141-153-165 sts on needle. Continue in gray. On next row from RS dec evenly to 96-100-104-108-112-116 sts. Piece measures approx 40-42-44-46-48-50 cm / 15¾’’-16½’’-17¼’’-18’’-19’’-19¾’’ up to the shoulder. Slip all sts on a stitch holder. LEFT FRONT BAND: Worked back and forth on circular needle. Pick up 124 to 156 sts (divisible by 4) along left front piece inside 1 edge st on circular needle size 2.5 mm / US 1 with gray. K 1 row from WS and continue in rib as follows (from RS): 1 edge st (K on every row), * K2, P2 *, repeat from *-*, and finish with K2 and 1 edge st (K on every row). When rib measures approx 3 cm / 1 1/8’’ bind off loosely with K over K and P over P. RIGHT FRONT BAND: Like left front band, but when front band measures 1 cm / 3/8’’ make 6 buttonholes evenly distributed – place top buttonhole 1 cm / 3/8’’ from the top and the bottom one approx 3 cm / 1 1/8’’ from bottom edge. 1 BUTTONHOLE = bind off 2 P sts (as seen from RS) and cast on 2 new sts over the bind off sts on return row. NECKLINE: Worked back and forth on circular needle. Pick up on circular needle size 2.5 mm / US 1 with gray as follows: 8 sts at the top of right front band, then work in all sts from yoke, but K2 tog at the beg and at the end of row (= edge sts dec) and pick up 8 sts at the top of left front band = 110-114-118-122-126-130 sts. Now work shortened rows mid back in stockinette st as follows (row 1 = WS): Work 65-67-69-71-73-75 sts, turn, work 20 sts, turn, work 30 sts, turn, work 40 sts, turn, continue like this with 10 more sts before each turn until you have worked shortened rows on a total of 100 sts, turn and work return row. Work 1 row on all sts, AT THE SAME TIME inc evenly to 124-128-132-136-140-144 sts. Continue in rib as follows from WS: 1 edge st (K on every row), * P2, K2 *, repeat from *-* and finish with P2 and 1 edge st (K on every row). Continue like this with 1 edge st each side until rib measures 3 cm / 1 1/8’’. Bind off loosely with K over K and P over P. ASSEMBLY: Sew sleeve edges tog inside 1 edge st and sew openings under sleeves. Sew on buttons. |
