Hello, you have misunderstood my question. When I measure the piece lengthwise in the center, the measurement is longer than when I measure the piece lengthwise along the edge. At what place should I check the measurement?
25.02.2018 - 19:17DROPS Design answered:
Dear Em, measure in the middle of piece, then you will block blanket to make it on its correct measurements (for the sides). Happy knitting!

I have a question about this pattern. Where the instructions say to knit until piece measures 25-1/2 inches, should I measure from the middle (where the wave pattern is) or the edge, (where the stockinette border is)? My measurements are significantly different in these two places (about 2 inches longer in the middle). Thanks.
24.02.2018 - 21:04DROPS Design answered:
Dear Em, for the blanket you start with 5,5 inches of garter stitch, then knit the pattern until the whole blanket is 25,5 inches (including the first garter stitch border) and then add the second 5,5 inch wide garter stitch border. This way you get the 31 inch length stated at the beginning of the pattern. Happy crafting!

Hej, nirkkoreunus virkataan peiton neulottuun reunaan. Aloitat yhdellä kiinteällä silmukalla, sitten 4 ketjusilmukkaa, 1 pylväs ensimmäiseen näistä 4 ketjusilmukkaa, jne.

Grazie ancora.
