Work next row as follows from mid front: 12 front band sts in moss st, 23-26-29 (32-35) stockinette sts and 1 edge st in garter st.
REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE.
When piece measures 5 cm [2’’] dec 1 st at the side and repeat the dec on every 2-2½-3 (3-3½) cm [3/4”-7/8”-1 1/8” (1 1/8”-1¼”)] a total of 5 times = 31-34-37 (40-43) sts.

Continue in stockinette st with 10 moss sts each side (= sleeve edges). When piece measures 25-27-30 (32-35) cm [9¾”-10 5/8”-11¾” (12½”-13¾”)] work 4 rows garter st on all sts and bind off.

NECKLINE: Pick up approx 46 to 66 sts round neckline (incl sts on stitch holder at front) on needle size 4.5 mm [US 7] and work 3 rows garter st back and forth on needle, bind off.

SOCKS:
Foot length: 10-11-12 (14-16) cm [4’’-4 3/8’’-4¾’’ (5½’’-6¼’’)]

Lisa Hertel 25.02.2014 - 02:09:

I have knitted the right and left panels for this pattern and now am at a loss when making the back piece. Am I adding stitches at the neck edge? Will that have a back center seam? Help Please

DROPS Design 25.02.2014 kl. 09:07:

Dear Mrs Hertel, when both front pieces are finished, knit all sts from left front piece, cast on 16-18-20 (22-22) sts for neckline on back piece and knit sts from right front piece = 120-130-144 (166-186) m on needle. Happy knitting!

Ellen 10.02.2014 - 17:00:

Wieso soll ich Maschen still legen?

Diane Louw 22.04.2012 - 19:31:

I amgoing to try knitting this. THank you...

Josefine 31.03.2012 - 16:15:
