Bonjour Mme Polselli, avec 20 ms = 10 cm, vous aurez 85-90-95 ms au dernier tour du chapeau, il fera donc environ 42-45-47 cm de circonférence, pour la taille correspondante, ajoutez quelques cm supplémentaires pour qu'il tienne bien sur la tête. Bon crochet!

Dear Hanna, the hat should be a bit smaller than the circumference of the head, with correct tension, you should get in size M 90 sts = 45 cm and in size L 95 sts = 47.5 cm. Happy crocheting!

Hat: Crochet 4 ch with crochet hook size 3.5 mm [US E/4] and Muskat Soft and form a ring with a sl st in first ch. Round 1: 5 sc in ring. Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Round 2: 2 sc in each sc = 10 sc. Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Round 3: *2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in next sc*, repeat from *-* = 15 sc. Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Round 4: *2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc*, repeat from *-* = 20 sc. Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Insert a marker/marking thread (MT) at beg of round and now continue in the round with 1 sc in each sc (do not finish each round with a sl st). At the same time inc 5 sc evenly on each round. Inc in the same place as the previous round, i.e. 1 additional sc between each inc per round. The circle will gradually become a pentagon. Round 17: 1 sc in each sc, at the same time dec – see Decreasing tip – 6-8-10 sc evenly = 126-135-144 sc. Round 18-21 incl: 1 sc in each sc. Round 22: 1 sc in each sc. Finish Size S here. Round 23: 1 sc in each sc. Finish size M here. Round 24: 1 sc in each sc. Finish size L here. Twisted string: Cut 4 threads burgundy Muskat measuring approx 3.3 yards each. Twist them until they resist, fold double and let them twist again. Tie a knot both ends. Loops: Worked separately and sewn onto hat afterwards. Make sure therefore to have enough thread both ends to sew with. Crochet 5 loops with crochet hook size 3.5 mm [US E/4] and burgundy Muskat as follows: 6 ch, cut the thread and pull through st. Attach loops to hat evenly distributed in transition between hat and brim. Measurements: Diameter: approx 19 cm [7½”] Height: approx 33 cm [13”] Materials: DROPS Muskat Soft from Garnstudio 250 g colour no 04, rainbow mix and use: DROPS Ice from Garnstudio 50 g colour no 7, blue DROPS crochet hook size 3.5 mm [US E/4] - or size needed to obtain 20 sc = width 4”. DROPS crochet hook size 5 mm [US H/8], for border Bag: Crochet 4 ch with crochet hook size 3.5 mm [US E/4] and Muskat Soft and form a ring with a sl st in first ch. Round 1: 6 sc in ring and finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Round 2: 2 sc in each sc = 12 sc. Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Round 3: “2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in next sc*, repeat from *-* = 18 sc. Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Round 4: *2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc*, repeat from *-* = 24 sc. Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Insert a marker at beg of round and now continue in the round with 1 sc in each sc (do not finish each round with a sl st). At the same time inc 6 sc evenly on each round. Inc in the same place as the previous round, i.e. 1 additional sc between each inc per round. The circle will gradually become a pentagon. Continue like this until there are a total of 21 rounds = 126 sc on round (piece measures approx 3.75”). Remember the crochet gauge! Continue in the round with 1 sc in each sc until piece measures 14.25” from the centre. Now work 1 sc in each sc, at the same time inc 2 sc evenly = 128 sc. Work next round as follows: *12 sc, 4 ch, skip 4 sc*, repeat from *-* all the way round. Work next round as follows: 1 sc in each sc and 4 sc in each ch-loop = 128 sc. Work 1 sc in each sc on next round, at the same time inc 1 sc = 129 sc. Continue with 1 sc in each sc until piece measures 16½” from the centre. Cut the thread and fasten. Border: Crochet a border with crochet hook size 5 mm [US H/8] and blue Ice along the top of bag as follows: 1 sc, *1 ch, skip 2 sc, 1 sc in next sc*, repeat from *-* and finish round with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Twisted string: Cut 2 threads blue Ice measuring approx 4.4 yards each. Twist them until they resist, fold double and let them twist again. Tie a knot either end. Thread the string through all holes in border twice and hide the knots on the WS of bag. |
