Crochet info: Replace the first tr on each round with 3 ch, and finish each round with a sl st in the 3rd ch from beginning of round.

Read crochet info!
Crochet 3 ch on hook size 7 and make a loop with a sl st.
1st round: Crochet 4 tr around the loop.
2nd round: Crochet 2 tr in each tr from previous round = 8 tr
3rd round: *1 tr in the first tr, 2 tr in the next tr*, repeat from *-* = 12 tr
4th round: *1 tr in the first tr, 2 tr in the next tr*, repeat from *-* = 18 tr
5th round: *1 tr in the first 2 tr, 2 tr in the next tr*, repeat from *-* = 24 tr
6th round: *1 tr in the first 3 tr, 2 tr in the next tr*, repeat from *-* = 30 tr
7th round: *1 tr in the first 2 tr, 2 tr in the next tr*, repeat from *-* = 40 tr

Finish the increases here for size 3/5 years

8th round:
Size 6/9 years: *1 tr in the first 9 tr, 2 tr in the next tr*, repeat from *-* = 44 tr
Size 10/14 years: *1 tr in the first 4 tr, 2 tr in the next tr*, repeat from *-* = 48 tr

All sizes: Continue to crochet 1 tr in each tr until the hat measures 13-15-17 cm. Then continue to crochet in stripes as follows: 1 round with light blue, 2 rounds with off-white, 1 round with rose, 1 round with light blue and 1 round with off-white, cut the thread. The hat now measures approx. 23-25-27 cm from the top.

Earflap: Crochet loosely 5-5-6 ch (inclusive of 3 ch to turn with) on hook size 7 and rose.
1st row – rose: Crochet 1 tr in each ch = 3-3-4 tr (1st tr = 3 ch), cut the thread.
2nd row- light blue: Turn the piece, crochet 3 ch and crochet 1 tr in between each tr from previous row. Around the 3 ch at the end crochet 7 tr and continue to crochet tr’s in between each tr from the 1st the row without turning the piece. Finish with a tr in the last tr from previous row = 13-13-15 tr around the “bend”, cut the thread.
3rd row- off white: Turn the piece, 3 ch, 1 tr in between each tr from previous row – but at each side of the centre tr at the top of the “bend” crochet 2 tr, finish with a tr in the last tr from previous row = 16-16-18 tr
Size 3/5 years: Cut the thread

Size 6/9 and 10/14 years:
4th row – off white: Turn the piece, 3 ch, 1 tr in between each tr from previous row – but in between the 4 centre tr at the top of the “bend” crochet 2 tr, finish with a tr in the last tr from previous row = 20-22 tr

All sizes: The earflap measures approx. 8-10-10 cm in the width at the top, and 6.5-8-8.5 cm in the height. Crochet one more flap. Sew 1 flap each side of the hat, leaving a gap of approx. 14-15-17 cm at the centre front – sew the flaps edge by edge with the hat.

BAG:
Crochet Tension: 1 square on hook size 7 = 10 x 10 cm.
Crochet info: Replace the first tr on each round with 3 ch, and finish each round with a sl st in the 3rd ch from beginning of round.

Colours for the squares:
Square A: colour no. 1 = rose, colour no. 2 = light blue, colour no. 3 = off-white
Square B: colour no. 1 = light blue, colour no. 2 = off-white, colour no. 3 = rose
Square C: colour no. 1 = rose, colour no. 2 = off-white, colour no. 3 = light blue
Square D: colour no. 1 = light blue, colour no. 2 = rose, colour no. 3 = off-white

How to crochet a square: read crochet info!
Crochet 6 ch on hook size 7 with colour no. 1 and make a loop with a sl st.
1st round: colour 1: *2 tr around the loop, 3 ch*, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times. Cut the thread and turn the piece
2nd round: colour 2: 3 tr in the ch loop, *3 ch, 3 tr in the same ch loop, 1 ch, 3 tr in the next ch loop*, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, 3 ch, 3 tr in the same ch loop, 1 ch. Cut the thread and turn the piece
3rd round: colour 3: 3 tr in the ch loop, 1 ch, *3 ch, 3 tr, 3 ch and 3 tr in the next ch loop (= the corner), 1 ch, 3 tr around the next ch loop, 1 ch*, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, 3 tr, 3 ch, 3 tr in the same ch loop, 1 ch. Cut the thread.

Bag: Crochet 2 squares of each A, B, C and D = 8 squares in total. Sew them together 4 by 4 as shown in picture – sew edge against edge with neat invisible stitches. Now sew the 2 squares together at the sides and at the bottom in the same way.

Shoulder strap: Cut 6 strands in each colour (18 strands in total), each measuring approx 100 - 150 cm. Separate them into 3 sections of each colour and plait them together loosely. Make a knot each end, the strap should be approx 60 to 100 cm long – measure it on the child. Sew the strap to each side of the bag, so the knot is at the outer side.

SLEEVELESS JUMPER:

Knitting tension: 10 sts x 14 rows on needles size 9 mm in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.
Garter sts (back and forth on needle): Knit all rows.

Decrease tips: Dec inside 2 garter sts from the right side.
Dec after 2 garter sts: Slip a st as if to knit, K1, psso
Dec before 2 garter sts: K2 tog.

Front piece:
Cast on 27-30-33 (36-39-42) sts ( includes 1 edge st each side) on needles size 9 mm. Knit 4 rows of garter sts and continue in stocking sts. REMEMBER THE TENSION!
Inc 1 st each side when the piece measures 10 cm and then again at 18 cm = 31-34-37 (40-43-46) sts.
When the piece measures 25-26-27 (28-29-30) cm purl 4 sts each side from the right side (continue in stocking sts over the remaining sts). On the next row cast off 2 sts each side for armhole and then continue dec 1 st each side on every other row inside the 2 garter sts – see dec tips above - 0-1-2 (3-4-5) times = 27-28-29 (30-31-32) sts.
When the piece measures 31-33-35 (36-38-40) cm purl the middle 7-8-7 (8-7-8) sts from the right side. On the next row cast off the middle 3-4-3 (4-3-4) sts for neck. Work each shoulder separately and continue with 2 sts in garter sts at the neck side – at the same time dec 1 st each side on every other row – see dec tips: 3-3-4 (4-4-4) times = 9-9-9 (9-10-10) sts left for shoulder.
Cast off when the piece measures 39-41-43 (45-47-49) cm.

Back piece:
Cast on and work as the front piece.
Bind off for the armholes as done for the front piece and continue until the piece measures 37-39-41 (43-45-47) cm.
Purl 1 row (seen from the right side) over the mid 13-14-15 (16-15-16) sts.
On next row cast off the middle 9-10-11 (12-11-12) sts for neck = 9-9-9 (9-10-10) sts left for each shoulder. Continue with 2 sts in garter sts at the neck side and cast off when the piece measures 39-41-43 (45-47-49) cm.

Assembly:
Sew the shoulder seams and the side seams inside the edge sts.
