Gauge: 17 sts x 21 rows on larger needles in pattern = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"]

Rib: * K 1 st into back of st, P 1 st *

Pattern: See charts below (1 chart = 1 repeat). The pattern is seen from the right side and is knit entirely in stockinette stitch. The chart for Pattern 1 has arrows indicating the starting row for different sizes; the chart for Pattern 2 is identical for all sizes.

Body: Cast on 110-118 (126-134-140) sts on smaller circular needles with natural; join and place a marker at the join. Knit 5 cm [2"] rib, but after 1 row change to light yellow. Change to larger circular needles and Pattern 1 (start at the appropriate arrow on the chart), increasing 22-26 (30-34-40) evenly distributed on the 1st row = 132-144 (156-168-180) sts. When the work measures 12-15 (18-20-22) cm [4.75" - 5-7/8" (7" - 7-7/8" - 8-5/8")], knit Pattern 2 (center the pattern across the front) and then knit the rest with light yellow. At the same time, when the work measures 21-23 (25-27-27) cm [8.25" - 9" (9-7/8" - 10-5/8" - 10-5/8")], divide the work for armholes and knit the rest of the front and back separately.

Back: = 66-72 (78-84-90) sts. Continue Pattern. When the work measures 39-42 (46-48-50) cm [15.25" -16.5" (18-1/8" - 18-7/8" - 19.25"), bind off the center 28-28 (30-32-32) sts for the neck, then bind off 1 st at each neck edge on the next row. Bind off the remaining sts for the shoulder when the work measures 40-43 (47-49-51) cm [15.75" - 16-7/8" (18.5" - 19.25" - 20")].

Front: = 66-72 (78-84-90) sts. Continue Pattern. When the work measures 36-39 (43-45-47) cm [14 1/8" - 15.25" (16-7/8" - 17.75" - 18.5")], bind off the center 22-22 (24-26-26) sts for the neck. Then bind off at each neck edge every other row 2 sts 1 time and 1 st 2 times. Bind off the remaining sts for the shoulder when the work measures 40-43 (47-49-51) cm [15.75" - 16-7/8" (18.5" - 19.25" - 20")].

Sleeves: Cast on 28-28 (30-30-32) sts on smaller double pointed needles with natural; join and place a marker at the join. Knit rib for 4 cm [1.5"], but after 1 row change to light yellow. Change to larger double pointed needles and knit Pattern 1 (start at the appropriate arrow), increasing 6-6 (8-10-10) sts evenly distributed on the 1st row = 34-34 (38-40-42) sts. Inc 1 st each side of marker 15-17 (18-17-20) times:
Sizes 3/4 + 5/6 + 7/8: every 3rd row
Sizes 9/10 + 11/12: alternately every 3rd and every 4th row
= 64-68 (74-74-82) sts. When the work measures 27-30 (34-37-40) cm [10-5/8" - 11.75" (13-3/8" - 14.5" - 15.75")], bind off.

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx. 76-86 sts on smaller double pointed needles with light yellow around the neck; join and knit 3 cm [1.25"] rib with the last row in natural and bind off with natural. Sew the sleeves to the body.
