Row 11: * K4, 1 YO, K2, slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso, K2 tog, K2, 1 YO, K1 *, repeat from *-*.
Now repeat row 1 – 12.

Edge: P 1 row, 3 cm = 1 1/8” stocking st, P 1 row (= folding edge, 3 cm = 1 1/8” stocking st.

Body piece:
Worked back and forth on circular needle from mid front. Cast on 225-238 sts on circular needle size 4 mm = US 6 and work M.2. After M.2 continue in M.1 (see above) with 2 stocking sts each side towards mid front. Remember the knitting gauge! When piece measures 23-25 cm = 9”-9 3/4” work next row as follows: 54-57 sts + 2 edge sts = front piece, bind off 3 sts for armhole, 108-115 sts = back piece, bind off 2 sts for armhole, 54-57 sts + 2 edge sts = front piece.
Now complete each piece separately.

Front piece: = 54-57 sts. Inc 1 st at the side for seam = 55-58 sts + 2 edge sts. Bind off to shape the armhole at the side inside seam st on every other row: 1 st 2-5 times = 53-53 sts + 2 edge sts. When piece measures 40-41 cm = 15 3/4”-16 1/8” bind off to shape the neckline at the beg of every row from mid front: 7 sts 1 time (+ 2 edge sts), 4 sts 2 times, 2 sts 3 times, 1 st 6 times. Bind off remaining sts on shoulder when piece measures 51-53 cm = 20”-21” – adjust to pattern.

Back piece: = 108-115 sts. Inc 1 st each side for seam = 110-117 sts. Bind off for armhole each side as described for front piece = 106-107 sts. When piece measures 48-50 cm = 19”-19 3/4” bind off the middle 42-43 sts for neck and complete each side separately.
Bind off at the beg of every row from neckline: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 1 time. Bind off as described for front piece.

Sleeves: Worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 46-46 sts on needle size 4 mm = US 6 and work M.2, at the same time inc 8 sts evenly on last row = 54-54 sts. Now continue in M.1 with 1 stocking st each side (make sure to place a pattern repeat mid upper sleeve). At the same time inc 1 st each side a total of 29 times on * every 3rd and 4th row * alternately = 112-112 sts. When piece measures 44-45 cm = 17 1/4”-17 3/4” bind off to shape the sleeve cap each side on every other row: 4 sts 5 times. Bind off remaining sts, piece measures approx 48-49 cm = 19”-19 1/4”.

Assembly: Join shoulders. Set in sleeves and sew side seams at the top and sleeve seams. Pick up approx 100 sts between the 2 edge sts on needle size 2.5 mm = US 1.5 along left front piece and work Edge back and forth on needle, bind off. Repeat along right front piece, but after 1 cm = 3/8” make 5 buttonholes evenly distributed. 1 buttonhole = bind off 2 sts and cast on 2 new sts on return row. Crochet a row of 139 dc round neckline with 48 dc on back piece, 45 on right front piece and 46 on left front piece with crochet hook size 3.5 mm = US C. Now crochet a border along bottom edge, round sleeve edges and round neck as follows: 1 dc, * 3 ch, 1 dc in first ch, skip 2 sts, 1 sc *, repeat from *-*. Sew on buttons.

Sharan V. Stanwood 19.02.2019 - 04:39:

Your pattern here shows a woman wearing a lacy cardigan, but the information and the actual pattern itself say the design is for children 2 to 12. It does not appear to be the pattern for the lacy cardigan. You need to fix this!

DROPS Design 19.02.2019 kl. 09:31:

Dear Mrs Stanwood, you are right, there is a mistake here, you will find this jacket under in UK-English here. Happy knitting!

Marja 18.01.2012 - 19:38:

Volgens mij ontbreek er een telpatroon
