500-550-600 g. Col. 904, cobolt blue
or: DROPS COTTON CHENILLE from Garnstudio
(100% cotton) 50 g./76 yards
550-650 g. Col. 05, navy blue

Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. Gauge: 20 sts x 32 rows (14 sts x 26 rows) in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm

Pattern: See chart (1 chart = 1 repeat). The pattern is seen from the right side. Arrows indicate the starting points for different sizes.

Front: Cast on 107-114-121 (79-86) sts (including 1 edge st on either side for seam - edge sts are not knitted into the pattern) and knit Pattern 1 as follows:
Sizes S+L (S/M): Begin at arrow A on the chart,
Sizes M (M/L): Begin at arrow B on the chart.
When the work measures 31-33-33 (31-32) cm , bind off at each side edge for armholes every other row 3 sts 1-1-2 (1-1) times, 2 sts 3-3-3 (2-2) times, dec 1 st 2-4-4 (2-4) times = 85-88-89 (61-64) sts. When the work measures 48-50-51 (48-50) cm, bind off the center 17-20-21 (11-12) sts for the neck. Then bind off at the neck edge every other row 3 sts 1 (1) time, 2 sts 2 (1) times, dec 1 st 2 (2) times and then every 4th row dec 1 st 1 (1) time. Bind off all sts when the work measures 56-58-59 (56-58) cm.

Back: Cast on 107-114-121 (79-86) sts (including 1 edge st at each side for seam - edge sts are not knitted into the pattern) and knit Pattern 1 as follows:
Sizes S+L (S/M): Begin at arrow C on the chart,
Sizes M (M/L): Begin at arrow B on the chart.
When the work measures 31-33-33 (31-32) cm, bind off at each side edge for armholes every other row: 3 sts 1-1-2 (1-1) times, 2 sts 3-3-3 (2-2) times, dec 1 st 2-4-4 (2-4) times = 85-88-89 (61-64) sts. When the work measures 54-56-57 (54-56) cm bind off the center 33-36-37 (22-24) sts for the neck. Bind off 2 sts at each neck edge on the next row. Bind off all sts when the work measures 56-58-59 (56-58) cm.

Sleeves: Cast on 46-46-48 (34-36) sts (including 1 edge st on either side for seam) and knit Pattern 1, centering the pattern on the sleeve. When the work measures 5 cm, inc 1 st at each side edge every 4th row 28-28-29 (19-20) times = 102-102-106 (72-76) sts. When the work measures 46.5-45.5-45 (45.5-45) cm, bind off at each side every other row:
Size S: 3 sts 12 times
Size M: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 11 times, 4 sts 2 times
Size L: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 13 times, 3 sts 2 times
(Size S/M: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 9 times, 4 sts 1 time)
(Size M/L: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 11 times, 4 sts 1 time)
Bind off all sts.
The work measures 54-54-55 (54-55) cm

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Sew the sleeves to the body and sew arm and side seam in one. Pick up 104-108 (90-95) sts around the neck and knit 5 (5) rows stockinette st, bind off all sts.
