Do you think I can make this work with a combination of Flora and Kid Silk, knitted together? Thank you!

Hi Aleksandra, I think you can. Make a swatch and make sure it is the same like in the pattern. If not, change your needles number in order to get the right knitting tension/swatch. Happy knitting!

How should I do this: "On the next row decrease 18-22-20-26-26-30 stitches evenly spaced (do not decrease the edge)" Thanks in advance

Dear Vivian, you can check how to increase and decrease evenly in the following lesson: https://www.garnstudio.com/lesson.php?id=28&cid=19 Remember to exclude the edge stitches from the initial stitches to decrease from, since you are told not to decrease in the edge. Happy knitting!

The neck is worked in the round to finish. BACK PIECE: Cast on 112-124-132-148-160-176 stitches with circular needle size 3 mm and DROPS Sky. Work rib as follows from the right side: 1 edge stitch in GARTER STITCH – read description above, rib (knit 2, purl 2) until there are 3 stitches left, knit 2 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. Work this rib back and forth for 3 cm and the next row is from the right side. Change to circular needle size 4 mm. On the next row decrease 18-22-20-26-26-30 stitches evenly spaced (do not decrease the edge stitches) = 94-102-112-122-134-146 stitches. Continue with stocking stitch and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch on each side until the piece measures 26-27-28-28-29-30 cm. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Continue with stocking stitch and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch on each side until the sleeve measures 16-15-14-13-11-9 cm from the cast-on edge. Cast off with knit from the right side. Work the other sleeve in the same way. ASSEMBLY: Sew the shoulder seams inside the cast-off edge. Sew in the sleeves inside 1 stitch. Sew the sleeve seams inside the 1 edge stitch, continue the seam down the sides of the body. Leave a split of 3 cm at the bottom of both seams (the rib). NECK: Start from the right side, on one shoulder, and knit up 104 to 116 stitches around the neck with circular needle size 3 mm and DROPS Sky – the number of stitches should be divisible by 4. Bedankt voor de uitleg over de rondbreinaald. Inmiddels ben ik begonnen met en weer breien op de rondbreinaald. Dat bevalt me eigenlijk heel goed. Geen lange breinaalden meer die in de weg zitten!
