HAIR BAND – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The hair band is worked sideways as a tube in stocking stitch, using 2 double pointed needles.
HAIR BAND:
Cast on 5 stitches with 2 double pointed needles size 4 mm and Snow. Knit 5 stitches, * do not turn the piece but push the stitches to the other end of the needle, lay the strand behind the 5 stitches, tighten the strand (so the tube is neat it is important to tighten well) and knit the 5 stitches from the right side again *, work from *-* until the piece measures 50 cm, cast off with knit from the right side.
ASSEMBLY:
Thread the elastic of approx. 20 cm in length through the tube and tie the ends together. Sew the tube together – with small, neat stitches, edge to edge. Cut and fasten the strand.
