SIZE:
Approx. 6 cm in width when flat.
MATERIALS:
DROPS MERINO EXTRA FINE from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group B)
50 g colour 01, off white
50 g colour 40, powder pink
50 g colour 39, ice blue
The piece weighs approx. 32 g
KNITTING TENSION:
21 stitches in width and 28 rows in height with stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm.
NEEDLES:
DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE SIZE 4 MM: Length 40 cm for stocking stitch.
DROPS CROCHET HOOK SIZE 4 MM.
Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to a smaller needle size.
ACCESSORIES:
Trouser elastic, approx. 20 cm

START THE PIECE HERE:

HAIR-BAND – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The hair-band is worked in the round with circular needle, folded double in length and crocheted together to finish.
HAIR-BAND:
Cast on 94 stitches with short circular needle size 4 mm and 1 strand off-white, ice blue or powder pink. Work stocking stitch in the round until the piece measures 12 cm, cast off.
CROCHET EDGE:
Place the cast-on and cast-off edges together and work a row of double crochets through both layers. Work with off-white, ice blue or powder pink and hook size 4 mm. Work 1 double crochet in each stitch until there is approx. 5 cm left. Thread the trouser elastic through the hair-band, tie a knot in the elastic and crochet the last 5 cm together. Cut and fasten the strands.
