Small blanket:
Piece measures approx. 40 x 50 cm.
Large blanket:
Piece measures approx. 65 x 80 cm.
MATERIALS:
DROPS BIG MERINO from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group C)
200-400 g colour 09, lavender
KNITTING TENSION:
17 stitches in width and 22 rows vertically in stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm.
NEEDLES:
DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE SIZE 5 mm, length 60 or 80 cm for stocking stitch.
Needle size is only a suggestion! If you have too many stitches on 10 cm switch to larger needles. If you have too few stitches on 10 cm switch to smaller needles

EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN:

GARTER STITCH (back and forth):
Knit all rows.
1 ridge vertically = knit 2 rows.
PATTERN:

START THE PIECE HERE:
----------------------------------------------------------
BLANKET - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
Work piece back and forth on circular needle.
BABY BLANKET:
Cast on 69-111 stitches on circular needle size 5 mm with Big Merino. Work 2 ridges in GARTER STITCH - see explanation above. Then work as follows from right side: Work 3 edge stitches in garter stitch, work A.1 until 3 stitches remain on needle (repeat A.1 9-15 times in width) and work 3 edge stitches in garter stitches.
Continue pattern like this until piece measures approx. 49-79 cm, adjust after one whole repetition vertically. Work 2 ridges, cast off by knitting on next row.
Cut and fasten the yarn.
