CROCHET TENSION:
17 half treble crochets in width and 15 rows in height = 10 x 10 cm.
CROCHET HOOK:
DROPS CROCHET HOOK SIZE 4 MM.
Hook size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger hook size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to a smaller hook size.

START THE PIECE HERE:

CLOTH – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The piece is worked back and forth. You work 6 cloths, one in each of the 6 colours.
CLOTH:
Work 49 chain stitches with hook size 4 mm and Paris. Turn and work 1 half treble crochet in the 3rd chain stitch from the hook (= 2 half treble crochets), work 1 half treble crochet in each of the next 4 chain stitches, * skip 1 chain stitch, work 1 half treble crochet in each of the next 6 chain stitches *, work from *-* to end of row = 42 half treble crochets. Then work as follows: Work A.1 over the first stitch, repeat A.2 (= 2 stitches) until there is 1 stitch left on the row and finish with A.3 over the last stitch. Repeat the 2 rows in A.1-A.3 in height until the piece measures 25 cm – REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! Cut and fasten strand.
