SOCKS - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
Worked in the round on double pointed needles.

SOCK:
Cast on 44-52-56 stitches on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm with Merino Extra Fine. Knit 1 round. Insert a marker thread at beginning of round. Work rib = knit 2/purl 2 for 12-13-14 cm. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Now work as follows: Work rib as before over the first 22-26-30 stitches (= mid on top of foot), cast off the next 22-26-26 stitches (= back of foot). On next round work rib as before over stitches on top of foot and cast on 18-22-22 new stitches over cast off stitches = 40-48-52 stitches. Insert a marker in the middle of the new stitches cast on. NOW MEASURE PIECE FROM HERE! Work the new stitches in rib (= knit 2/purl 2). When piece measures approx. 9-10-11 cm, cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl. Make sure that the cast-off edge is not too tight. Knit another sock the same way.
