When switching colour at the beginning of a round, work slip stitch at the end of previous round with the new colour.

CARPET:
Piece is worked in the round in a circle from centre and outwards with 3 strands Paris.

Begin with hook size 8 mm and 3 strands mustard. Work STRIPES - see explanation above, and PATTERN in the round as follows:
Work A.1 (shows how round begins and ends), A.2 10 times in total on round - read COLOUR PATTERN!
REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION!
On last round increase 8 treble crochets evenly = 168 treble crochets. When entire A.1 and A.2 have been worked, piece measures approx. 68 cm in diameter.
Begin on round with arrow in diagrams and work A.3 (shows how round begins and ends), work A.4 14 times in total on round.
When entire A.3 and A.4 have been worked, there are 280 treble crochets on round and piece measures approx. 110 cm in diameter. Fasten off.
