INFORMATION FOR PATTERN:
DECREASE TIP:
Decrease 1 treble crochet by working the next 2 treble crochet together as follows: Work 1 treble crochet in next double crochet but wait with last pull through, work 1 treble crochet in next double crochet the same way, make 1 yarn over and pull yarn through all 3 loops on hook.
CROCHET INFO:
Replace first treble crochet on every round/row with treble crochets with 3 chain stitches and finish round with 1 slip stitch in third chain stitch.
Replace first double crochet on every round/row with double crochets with 1 chain stitches and finish round with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch.
PATTERN:
2 round/rows with double crochets,
1 round/row with treble crochets.
Repeat these 3 rounds/rows.
STRIPES:
*Work 2 rounds/rows with double crochets and 1 round/row with treble crochets with dark beige,
work 2 rounds/rows with double crochets and 1 round/row with treble crochets with petrol *, repeat from *-*.

SLIPPER:
Work from toe towards heel.
Work 5 chain stitches with petrol on hook size 4 mm and form a ring with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch. READ CROCHET INFO!
ROUND 1: Work 12 treble crochets around chain stitch ring – beginning of round = mid under foot.
ROUND 2: Work * 1 treble crochet in first treble crochet, 2 treble crochets in next treble crochet *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 18 treble crochets.
ROUND 3: Work * 1 treble crochet in the first 2 treble crochets, 2 treble crochets in next treble crochet *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 24 treble crochets.
ROUND 4: Work * 1 double crochet in each of the first 3 treble crochets, 2 double crochets in next treble crochet *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 30 double crochets.
ROUND 5: Work 1 double crochet in every double crochet but increase 4-6-10 double crochets evenly = 34-36-40 double crochets.
ROUND 6: Work 1 treble crochet in every double crochet.

REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When piece measures approx. 10-11-13 cm, finish after 2 rounds with double crochet, cut the yarn. Insert 1 marker between the 2 middle stitches on round, i.e. after 17-18-20 double crochets. Work piece with toe towards you and count 4 stitches to the left of marker, begin working here from right side with treble crochets. Work until 6 double crochets remain in total on round (i.e. 3 stitches on each side of marker mid on top of foot), turn = 28-30-34 treble crochets. Continue pattern as before – work 1 slip stitch in first treble crochet, then double crochets until 1 treble crochet remains on row, turn. Then work back and forth over the remaining 26-28-32 stitches until piece measures approx. 21-23-26 cm in total – adjust so that next row is a row worked with treble crochets. Work next row as follows: 1 treble crochet in each of the first 11-12-14 double crochets, then work the next 4 treble crochets together 2 by 2 – READ DECREASE TIP, then work 1 treble crochet in each of the last 11-12-14 double crochets. Fasten off. Fold the slipper double and sew tog edge to edge mid back.

Work an edge around the opening on slipper with petrol as follows:
If first stripes after division is a stripes with dark beige:
ROUND 1:
1 double crochet in every double crochet mid on top of foot, 1 double crochet in corner before first stripe with dark beige, * 2 chain stitches, skip a stripe with dark beige, 1 double crochet in transition between the next 2 colour stripes, 2 double crochet on stripes in petrol, 1 double crochet in transition between the next 2 colour stripes *, repeat from *-* until a stripes with dark beige remains, 2 chain stitches, skip stripe with dark beige, 1 double crochet in corner before double crochets on top of foot, finish round with 1 slip stitch in 1st double crochet.
If first stripes after division is a stripes with petrol:
ROUND 1: 1 double crochet in every double crochet mid on top of foot, 1 double crochet in corner, * 2 double crochets on stripes in petrol, 1 double crochet in transition between the next 2 colour stripes, 2 chain stitches, skip a stripe in dark beige, 1 double crochet in transition between the next 2 colour stripes, * repeat from *-* until a stripe with petrol remains, work 2 double crochets on stripes in petrol, 1 double crochet in corner before double crochets on top of foot, finish round with 1 slip stitch in first double crochet.
ROUND 2:
Work 1 double crochet in every double crochet and 2 double crochet around every chain space. Finish round with 1 slip stitch in first double crochet. Fasten off.
Work another slipper the same way.
TWINED STRING:
Cut 2 lengths of 2 metres each with mustard. Twine the strands tog until they resist, fold the string double so that it twines again. Make a knot at each end. Thread string up and down in first round worked with petrol around opening on slipper and tie a knot mid back. Do the same on the other slipper.
