Crocheted bat for Halloween. Piece is crocheted in DROPS Paris.

Yarn group C or A + A

Materials:
DROPS PARIS from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group C)
50 g colour 15, black
50 g colour 30, grey blue

DROPS CROCHET HOOK SIZE 4.5 mm – or size needed to get 17 treble crochets = width 10 cm.

BAT:
Bat is worked back and forth with beginning from bottom of body and worked up towards the ears.
Work 4 chain stitches on hook size 4.5 mm with black or grey blue and form a ring with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch. Continue back and forth according to diagram A.1. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION!
To make the bat hang nicely and be rigid it can be dipped in sugar water or colourless soda and left flat to dry. Pull a sewing thread through one ear and hand the bat in this thread.
