50 g colour no 0602, brown mix
And use some left-over black for eyes and snout.

DROPS CROCHET HOOK SIZE 5 mm – or size needed to get 12 htr x 12 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

CROCHET TIP-1:
Replace first htr on every round with 2 ch. Finish every round with 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round.

CROCHET TIP-2:
If it is difficult to crochet htr in htr with Alpaca Boucle, crochet between two htr.

WORK IN THE ROUND IN A CIRCLE:
After last htr on the round, continue to next round with 1 htr in next htr (= 1st htr from previous round). NOTE: Insert a marker at the beg of round between last htr and 1st htr on round, move the marker downwards when working.

HAT:
The piece is worked top down. Work 4 ch on hook size 5 mm with brown mix and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: READ CROCHET TIP-1! Work 8 htr in ch-ring.
ROUND 2: READ CROCHET TIP-2:Work 2 htr in every htr = 16 htr.
ROUND 3: * 1 htr in first htr, 2 htr in next htr *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 24 htr.
ROUND 4: * 1 htr in each of the first 2 htr, 2 htr in next htr *, repeat from *-* = 32 htr.
ROUND 5: * 1 htr in each of the first 3 htr, 2 htr in next htr *, repeat from *-* = 40 htr.
ROUND 6: * 1 htr in each of the first 4 htr, 2 htr in next htr *, repeat from *-* = 48 htr.
ROUND 7: * 1 htr in each of the first 5 htr, 2 htr in next htr *, repeat from *-* = 56 htr.
ROUND 8: Work 1 htr in every htr while AT THE SAME TIME inc 0-2-4 htr evenly on round. = 56-58-60 htr.
Then work 1 htr in every htr - READ WORK IN THE ROUND IN A CIRCLE - until piece measures approx. 19-21-23 cm. Cut the yarn and pull it through the last st and fasten tightly.


EAR:
Worked back and forth bottom up.
ROW 1: Work 12 ch on hook size 5 mm with brown mix.
ROW 2: Beg in 2nd ch from hook and work 1 dc in each of the next 11 ch. Turn piece.
ROW 3: Skip first dc, then work 10 dc, turn piece.
ROW 4: Skip first dc, then work 9 dc, turn piece.
ROW 5: Skip first dc, then work 8 dc, turn piece.
ROW 6: Skip first dc, then work 7 dc, turn piece.
ROW 7: Skip first dc, then work 6 dc, turn piece.
ROW 8: Skip first dc, then work 5 dc, turn piece.
ROW 9: Skip first dc, then work 4 dc, turn piece.
Sew first and last st tog.
Fasten off. Work 1 more ear.

EYES:
Worked in the round in a circle. Work 3 ch on hook size 5 mm with black and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: Work 4 dc in ch-ring.
Fasten off. Work another eye.

SNOUT:
Worked back and forth bottom up.
ROW 1: Crochet 6 ch on hook size 5 mm with black.
ROW 2: Beg in 2nd ch from hook and work 1 dc in each of the next 5 ch. Turn piece.
ROW 3: Skip first dc, then work 4 dc, turn piece.
ROW 4: Skip first dc, then work 3 dc, turn piece.
ROW 5: Skip first dc, then work 2 dc, turn piece.
ROW 6: Skip first dc, then work 1 dc.
Fasten off.

ASSEMBLY:
Fasten eyes at the front of hat. Place snout in the middle of eyes at the bottom towards edge and fasten it. Fasten ears.
