DROPS Christmas: Knitted DROPS cloths with stripes and textured pattern in ”Paris”.

Measurements: approx. 26 x 26 cm
Materials:
DROPS PARIS from Garnstudio
For 6 cloths:
150 g colour no 17, off white
150 g colour no 26, dark beige
150 g colour no 12, red

DROPS STRAIGHT NEEDLES SIZE 3 mm - or size needed to get 21 sts x 33 rows in pattern = 10 x 10 cm.
Accessories: String if desired

GARTER ST (back and forth):
K all rows. 1 ridge = 2 rows K.

PATTERN:
See diagrams A.1 and A.2. The diagrams show all rows in pattern seen from RS.

COLOURS:
Cast on and work with the same colour as first stripe colour in cloth.

NARROW STRIPES: (1 stripe = 4 pattern rows)
Cloth 1: 3 stripes dark beige, * 1 stripe red, 1 stripe dark beige *, repeat from *-* 7 times in total, 3 stripes red.
Cloth 2: 3 stripes off white, * 1 stripe dark beige, 1 stripe off white *, repeat from *-* 7 times in total, 3 stripes dark beige.
Cloth 3: 3 stripes red, * 1 stripe off white, 1 stripe red *, repeat from *-* 7 times in total, 3 stripes off white.

WIDE STRIPES: (1 stripe = 8 pattern rows)
Cloth 1: * 1 stripe red, 1 stripe dark beige *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total.
Cloth 2: * 1 stripe dark beige, 1 stripe off white *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total.
Cloth 3: * 1 stripe off white, 1 stripe red *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total.

CLOTHS:
Work 6 cloths in total, i.e. work 3 cloth with NARROW STRIPES and 3 cloths with WIDE STRIPES - see explanation above.

CLOTH:
Cast on 54 sts on needle size 3 mm - READ COLOURS above. K 3 rows.
Then work pattern according to diagram - AT THE SAME TIME work narrow/wide stripes, as follows (1st row = RS): 2 edge sts in GARTER ST - see explanation above - A.1 (= 4 sts) until 4 sts remain, A.2 (= 2 sts), 2 edge sts in garter st. Continue like this. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION When all stripes are done, piece measures approx. 25 cm, continue with last stripe colour and K 4 rows. Cast off with K.
