Measurements: Height: approx. 7.5 cm Circumference at the bottom: approx. 14 cm
Materials:
For both angels:
DROPS COTTON MERINO from Garnstudio
50 g colour no 01, off white
And use:
DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio
25 g colour no 01, off white
1 angel weighs approx. 8 g.
DROPS DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLE SIZE 3 mm – or size needed to get 23 sts x 32 rows in stocking st with 1 strand of each yarn = 10 x 10 cm.

DECREASE TIP:
Dec by K/P 2 sts tog.
INCREASE TIP:
Inc 1 st by working 2 sts in the same st as follows: K 1 in front loop of stitch without dropping st off the needle, then K 1 in back loop of st.
PATTERN:
* K 2 tog, 1 YO *, repeat from *-* the entire round. On next round P the YO to make hole.

ANGEL WITH GARTER ST PATTERN:
Worked in the round on double pointed needles.
Cast on 32 sts on double pointed needles size 3 mm with 1 strand Kid-Silk and 1 strand Cotton Merino (= 2 strands). * P 1 round, K 2 rounds, K 1 round while dec 4 sts evenly - READ DECREASE TIP *, repeat from *-* 4 times in total = 16 sts - REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! P 1 round, K 1 round while dec 4 sts evenly = 12 sts. K 1 round, K 1 round while dec 4 sts evenly = 8 sts. P 1 round (= neck). On next round work 2 sts in every st - see INCREASE TIP = 16 sts. K 6 rounds. Work 2 round where all sts are K tog 2 by 2 = 4 sts. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten.
WINGS:
Worked back and forth on double pointed needles, top down.
Cast on 21 sts on double pointed needle size 3 mm with 2 strands Kid-Silk. K 1 row from RS. Then work short rows as follows: * K 7, turn and K back, K 1 row over all sts *, repeat from *-* 6 times in total, then * K 2 tog, K 6, turn and K back, K 1 row over all sts *, repeat from *-* until there are 15 sts on needle. * K 2 tog, K the rest of row *, repeat from *-* until 9 sts remain, cast off.
ASSEMBLY:
Fill the head with some yarn of Kid-Silk or similar. Fasten wings on angel with some neat little stitches mid back. If you want to hang the angel, make a twined string as follows:
Cut 2 lengths of 60 cm each with Kid-Silk. Twine the strands tog until they resist, fold the string double so that it twines again. Tie a knot in each end and fasten at the top of head.

ANGEL WITH LACE PATTERN:
Worked in the round on double pointed needles.

P 1 round while dec 4 sts evenly = 12 sts. 1 round pattern. P 1 round. K 1 round while dec 4 sts evenly = 8 sts (= neck). P 1 round. On next round work 2 sts in every st - see INCREASE TIP = 16 sts. K 6 rounds. Work 2 round where all sts are K tog 2 by 2 = 4 sts. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten. Work the wings and fasten the same way as angel with garter st pattern.
