Materials:
DROPS ALASKA from Garnstudio
50 g colour no 02, off white
50 g colour no 58, mustard
100 g colour no 45, light olive
50 g colour no 10, red

DROPS CROCHET HOOK SIZE 3.5 mm – or size needed to get 18 htr in width x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
ACCESSORIES: Some cotton wool for filling

CROCHET INFO:
Replace first htr at beg of every htr row with 2 ch.
Replace first htr at beg of every htr round with 2 ch. Finish round with 1 sl st in 2nd ch at beg of round.

CROCHET HTR TOG:
Work 2 htr into 1 htr as follows: Work 1 htr but wait with last YO and pull through, work 1 htr in next st but pull last YO through all sts on hook.

CROWN:
First work a crown and fill it with cotton wool, then work four candles and fill them with cotton wool and finally sew the wreath tog. Then work a ribbon to fasten around the wreath.

WREATH:
Worked back and forth. Work 25 ch (incl 2 ch to turn with) on hook size 3.5 mm with light olive.
READ CROCHET INFO! Work 1 htr in 3rd ch from hook (= 2 htr), 1 htr in each of the next 2 ch, * skip 1 ch, 1 htr in each of the next 4 ch *, repeat from *-* 3 more times = 20 htr.
Then work 1 htr in every htr until piece measures approx. 63 cm - REMEMBER CROCHET TENSION. Crochet wreath tog as follows:
Fold the wreath, work around the outer tr on every row in each side of piece as follows: Work 2 dc around every htr-row, finish row with 1 sl st in first dc. Fill the wreath with cotton wool and sew cast-on and cast-off edge tog.

CANDLES:
Worked in the round. Work 3 ch on hook size 3.5 mm with mustard and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: READ CROCHET INFO! Work 4 htr in the ch-ring.
ROUND 2: Work * 1 htr in first/next htr, 2 htr in next htr *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 6 htr.
ROUND 3: Work * 1 htr in each of the first/next 2 htr, 2 htr in next htr *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 8 htr.
ROUND 4: Work * 1 htr in each of the first/next 3 htr, 2 htr in next htr *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 10 htr.
ROUND 5: Work * 1 htr in first/next htr, work 2 htr tog 2 times - READ CROSHET HTR TOG *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 6 htr.
ROUND 6: Switch to off white. Work 2 htr in every htr = 12 htr.
ROUND 7: Work 1 htr in each of the first 2 htr, 2 htr in next tr, * 1 htr in each of the next 2 htr, 2 htr in next htr *, repeat from *-* 2 more times = 16 tr.
ROUNDS 8-14: Work 1 htr in every htr.
Work 3 more candles the same way. Fill the candles with cotton wool and fasten them on to wreath with the same distance between each candle.

RIBBON:
Work 8 ch on hook size 3.5 mm with red and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Work 4 ch, 1 dc in ch-ring. Continue to work as follows: * 8 ch, 1 dc around dc from ring below (= 1 new ring), 4 ch, turn piece, 1 dc around the new ring *, repeat from *-* until ribbon measures approx. 170 cm (= approx. 68 rings). Fasten ribbon around the wreath from one side while at the same time fastening it one time around each candle.
