PILLOW IN GARTER ST:
Measurements: 40 x 40 cm
Materials:
DROPS SNOW from Garnstudio
450 g colour no 56, Christmas red

DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (60 cm) SIZE 12 mm - or size needed to get 8 sts x 15 rows in garter st with 2 strands = 10 x 10 cm.
ACCESSORIES: Pillow for filling: 40 x 40 cm

PILLOW WITH CABLE:
Measurements: 40 x 60 cm
Materials:
DROPS SNOW from Garnstudio
600 g colour no 56, Christmas red

DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (60 cm) SIZE 12 mm - or size needed to get 8 sts x 10 rows in stocking st with 2 strands = 10 x 10 cm.
ACCESSORIES: Pillow for filling: 40 x 60 cm

GARTER ST (worked in the round):
1 ridge = 2 rounds. * K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*.

INCREASE TIP:
Inc 1 st by making 1 YO, on next round work YO twisted (i.e. work in back loop of st instead front) to avoid holes.

PATTERN:
See diagram A.1. The diagram shows all rows in pattern seen from RS.

DOUBLE YARN TIP:
Use yarn from inside and outside of ball when using only one ball. When switching to a new ball, try to avoid switching both strands at the same time - to avoid a thick yarn when fastening.

PILLOW IN GARTER ST:
Worked in the round.
Cast on 64 sts on circular needle size 12 mm with 2 strands Snow - READ DOUBLE YARN TIP. Work in GARTER ST - see explanation above. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION Cast off when piece measures 40 cm, adjust after 1 round K.

ASSEMBLY:
Sew tog edge to edge along cast-on edge. Fill the pillow case with a pillow and then sew along cast-off edge.

PILLOW WITH CABLE:
Worked in the round.
Cast on 64 sts on circular needle size 12 mm with 2 strands Snow - READ DOUBLE YARN TIP. K 1 round, P 1 round and K 3 rounds. Then work as follows: * P 1 round, K 1 round, P 1 round, K 1 round, P 1 round, K 3 rounds *, repeat from *-* 3 more times (piece measures approx. 28 cm) - REMEMBER KNITTING TENSION. Work next round as follows: * K 2, 1 YO *, repeat from *-* the entire round - READ INCREASE TIP = 96 sts. Now work pattern as follows: Work A.1 (= 12 sts) 8 times on round in total - NOTE: On 7th round beg round 2 sts before start of round. When A.1 has been worked 1 time vertically, work next round as follows: * K 1, K 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 64 sts. Then work as follows: * K 3 rounds, P 1 round, K 1 round, P 1 round, K 1 round, P 1 round *, repeat from *-* 1 more time. K 3 rounds, P 1 round and K 1 round. Cast off. Piece measures approx. 56 cm (will stretch to 60 cm).

ASSEMBLY:
Sew tog edge to edge along cast-on edge. Fill the pillow case with a pillow and then sew along cast-off edge.
