CROCHET INFO: Replace first htr on round with 2 ch. Finish every round with 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round. INCREASE TIP: Inc 1 htr by working 2 htr in same st. DECREASE TIP: Dec 1 htr by working 2 htr tog as follows: * Make 1 YO, insert hook in next st, get yarn , repeat from -* one more time, make 1 YO and pull yarn through all 5 sts on hook. ---------------------------------------------------------- HAT: The piece is worked top down. SKULL: ROW 1: Work 4 ch on hook size 6 mm with off white, work 1 htr in 3rd ch from hook (= 2 htr), 1 htr in last ch. Turn. ROW 2: Work 2 ch (= 1 htr) 1 htr in every htr = 3 htr. ROW 3: Work 2 ch (= 1 htr) 1 htr in every htr. ROW 4: Work 2 ch (= 1 htr) + 2 htr in first htr, 1 htr in next htr, 3 htr in last htr = 7 htr. ROW 5: Work 2 ch (= 1 htr), 1 htr in every htr while AT THE SAME TIME dec 2 htr evenly = 5 htr. ROW 6: Work 2 ch (= 1 htr), 1 htr in every htr while AT THE SAME TIME dec 1 htr = 4 htr. SWORD: Work 3 ch on hook size 6 mm with off white, work 1 sl st in first ch, work 17 ch, work 1 sl st in 3rd ch from hook. Cut the yarn. Work another sword the same way. ASSEMBLY: Sew eyes, nose and 3 stitches for teeth on skull with black. Fold the brim up and sew swords and skulls mid front on brim - see photo. Fasten brim both front and back with small stitches in the tip.
